This was really fun to watch again. Definitely a favorite movie of mine. Side note, I got a cat as a kid around the same time this movie came out, and named the cat Walle(after the robot.) Sadly he passed away about 5 years ago… well anyways looking forward to see what’s next.

I've seen these movies several times in my life, and I maybe tear up at the first viewing, but never after that...I watch these movies with you guys, and for some reason, I'm a faucet. I have no idea what it is about watching with y'all that makes the emotional moments hit harder. I like how despite corporate greed is the antagonist of the movie instead of being like “look what people did” it’s man this company screwed earth and continued to try and profit off people to the end.

The Wall-E Video game, comics, and other sources actually goes on to provide some explanation as to what happened to the other Wall-E bots BnL originally intended the earth cleanup mission to be only 5 years but the constant burning of trash caused the earth’s atmosphere to become inhospitable to the remaining humans overseeing the project so they left too deeming it a lost cause but never shutting down the bots. These bots would continue following their programming for 700 years. Over time the Wall-E bots would cease functioning due to to several factors such as battery failure, damage sustained while working in a world ravaged by storms, and general wear and tear.In the comic we see the last dozen bots with Wall-E eventually perish to these factors leaving him alone to lament his situation

I was 13 when this movie came out in 2008 and it has been my favorite movie ever since. It has always stuck with me and as the years go by this movie aged very well. There is so many themes and important messages. I recommended to any fans to read the comic books and to read the Wall-E artbook. I also love this movie because of how charming and likeable the characters are. This movie is one of Pixar's best movies!
