Personally you think my hero is what made anime mainstream but truthfully as a newer anime Stan for the last year and a half. it was the fact that avatar the last airbender came out on Netflix right after covid started and everyone watched it for nostalgia but after they finished they wanted more and tried anime. Because avatar takes so much influence from anime. This is how I and a lot of other people who didn’t know anime very well started. Covid and avatar lol

In my opinion, AOT was popular because of GOT and MHA/OP was popular because of superhero movies. Also, if Killua would be a bad MC because all he wanted to do was not be an assassin.
