I read this interview and it set me off.  Even worse than the horrible Short Trek episode itself (review is pending).  Without a doubt, this is the most hated character for me in STD, even worse than Mikey Spock, and I hate Mikey Spock with every fiber of my being, which I guess means I hate this Harry Mudd with every fiber of everyone's being in the entire universe.  Oh boy oh boy I can't stand this guy...

According to IMDB Mr. Mike McMahan is a "writer" on an upcoming series called "Solar Opposites" where the premise is "A family of aliens move to middle America, where they debate whether life is better there or on their home planet." Yeah, that won't be political at all and will draw absolutely no comparisons to 3rd Rock from the Sun.

You're goddamn right there Dave Bob. The only way I cope with the existence of this abomination is to remain ever cognizant of that fact. Just as the cheap imitation dreck that is sold to pass as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and the like here in Hong Kong, it can in no way compete with the real thing and poses no threat to the brand. IMOP STD is such a vile D grade knock off that there is little chance that its bastardization of canon will ever be able establish a permanent foothold in the Star Trek lexicon. Of course, the other way I cope is to watch Doomcock's videos, and be happy I have that to distract me from the shitshow.

I always considered Harry Mudd to be a roguish opportunist...lovable in a way but definitely not evil. There doesn’t appear to be any Star Trek cannon that STD isn’t willing to corrupt. Staying angry!

Bloody Hell... and right after this 'Mikey Spork' herself was lashing out at the Trek fanbase (thanks Mecha for pointing it out). Not a single one of Kurtzman's cronies can keep their shit together or comprehend what actual Star Trek even looks like.
