Today I'm trying something new. Patrons and viewers have often suggested I make a more personal video that looks at my gaming life behind the camera. I've tried it a few times in the past but I was never happy with it. Here's my first public attempt at a "VLOG".

In this video, I tell the story of why I first started making videos, we take a trip to the park to pick up my birthday present and play some games. We celebrate 5 years of Actualol, I talk about the game "Bites", Codenames Online and share the new games that have arrived.

I'm still learning at this sort of thing. If you found it interesting/worth watching I would love to know. And happy to take any constructive feedback on the style. It won't interfere or replace the usual Actualol content, so please don't fear on that front.

Why I Started Making Videos

I tell the story of why I started making videos five years ago. We play some games in the park, chat about "Bites", Codenames online, and I share the new games that have just arrived. My two passions are writing comedy and playing board games, so I decided to combine the two in this YouTube channel. I make all my videos on my own, in my flat in London, UK, with the help of a diverse selection of wigs. Nice one, thanks for sharing and taking us behind the scenes! Loved the backing track btw.

This is a great (nosey) insight, Jon. Thanks. P. S. Have you ever said why you called the channel 'Actualol'?
