I've been hard at work on this month's Patron's Choice guide, and it turned out that I needed to knock out a pair of supporting guides so that it would make any sense at all:

Behind-the-Scenes Krisis

As you can see, I put my intended next few guides on hold to knock out this Patron's Choice selection by the midway point of the month.

I'm so glad I did! I genuinely enjoyed every bit of Black Cat that I read for this project. It reminded me of building guides a decade ago, where approaching a guide like Iron Fist or Moon Knight was my first true exposure to the character.

I realized early in the making of this guide that it would necessitate making a Heroes For Hire guide, since I didn't want to duplicate those collections across multiple characters. Plus, I needed to update my massive Spider-Man guide and I realized it would be simpler to spin it off onto its own page

That made me take stock of how many Marvel teams I have left to add in general, which then lead me to re-evaluate the mess that was the main Marvel page. Recent patron Maciej asked about it in the comments of my last update and I realized it was in need of some major love.

That yielded a lengthy project of rebuilding the main Marvel page from scratch, including creating new clickable images for over 100 guides.

They rest, as they say, is history.

The Crushing Comics – Guide to Collecting Marvel Comic Books is now so easy to update that it is the first place that gets a new Patreon-exclusive guide linked when it debuts (rather than trailing by several months). I wanted to make it much simpler for you to easily see everything that's included with your support on the site in addition to listing it at the bottom of these updates.

I still have at least one more new guide I'd like to knock out this month - and hopefully more. Plus, be on the lookout for your next Patron's Choice poll within the next week!
