I had a lot more personal storytelling at the beginning of this that I cut. It was good footage, but it was the wrong personal story for the third episode. I'm so used to the way I tell my story via CK - with 17 years worth of related context built in. I have to be aware that I don't have all that backstory built in here on YouTube. I'm a new character all over again.
In rendering this video, I hit a snag wherein the audio stopped matching the video despite me not altering them separately. This is what turned me off to video back in 2010, when I was poised to be posting new songs every week. Last night, I learned this has to do with video that's shot in a variable frame rate, and all you need to do to fix it is convert it to a constant frame rate.
Of course, I learned this after an hour of midnight re-editing to try to align the audio to the video, but if I never have to deal with it again I consider it time well spent!
