Animation #33

"Hu Tao's providing a little service for you this evening..."

[Discord Server 'soft launch']

Server is already up for early access. All Patrons are automatically invited to the Discord server if their Patreon accounts are connected to their Discord accounts.

Hey ya, we've recently opened up a Discord community server a few days ago. It's for all things including scene data discussions, feedback and suggestions, for me to share updates/drafts (easier to post on Discord than on my Twitter) and misc studio-related things, and other community-related stuff (chat, salt).

It is currently not 'public' ready for me to officially announce the public Discord Invite link, but patrons can send out invitations to anyone - I want it to be public eventually anyway and will provide the invite link once it is ready. Just be respectful and abide to Discord rules.

All Patrons, current or past, are given permanent 'Member' status even if their Patreon memberships end.

This attempt is much more simple than my previous releases. I took my time focusing on the joints and not really on the environment itself 'cause I kinda had a moment with her hair. I think I understand now why you don't really see a lot of long-haired character animations done for KK. Lol I think I lost a couple years of my life trying to tame the dynamic bones of her twintails. If you have the scene data, you'd probably notice I have a couple of Dynamic Bone Colliders object keyframed to move to odd spots toward the end of the Timeline.

I... the next character we have is our beloved Houshou Marine and I am going to see if I can get away with not fiddling and fighting against her hair too much.

Umm, I have always wanted to keep our POV animations simple (like Yoimiya's, Lumine's and Ayaka's). I do want to ask though if people want it to be 'purely POV' by deleting all non-POV camera shots and angles - but I got a feeling that would make it worse? I'll be keeping it the way we've been doing it (with extra introductory non-POV angles) but do shout out if it's something that actually bothers you.

For all future updates, I'll continue to post them on either Discord or Twitter. Stay safe everyone and see ya at #34's release.

I do like the mix of POV and non-POV angles. Being able to view your beautiful work from various angles is much appreciated.

thanks, maybe I was overthinking it. I see tags like "POV Only" and maybe it doesn't really matter as much as long as the core is still POV
