Hey ya, don't worry there aren't any bad-ish news but I do wanna give everyone a heads up on the potential of schedule disruption this coming June or July.

(TLDR?) For only the important news, it's bolded under '[Disruption]' tag.

Pardon my English, it isn't my first language.

[Graduation]
It's finally happening. After 4 years, I'm about to cross the finish line. In about two months I should have completed my internship, completed our final IT project, and graduated from the university I'm attending.

What does this mean for Su-chan and our Patreon? It means I'll get a little bit more time back to spend on Patreon-related commitments. Though, I do mean a 'little bit more time' because we already have plans for the extra time we'll be getting back.

[Disruption]
Before we talk about our future plans, I want to give a notice to all our patrons that there will be a period of at least a few weeks whereby I would be unable to create any animations.

I'm currently in a foreign country to attend this university. Upon graduation, I'd have to pack up, including my workstation, and fly back home. That also means I have to fly my workstation back home. During this period, I won't have access to my computer. At the moment, I am working out if I would be able to create additional animations to be scheduled to release automatically during my downtime but I can't promise this. Once I am able to, for sure I'll quickly get back to work.

Any actual date of when this is happening yet? No, but it is for sure happening before July, and highly likely during June. It is not possible for me to give an exact date due to the processes involved.

I hope with this it doesn't surprise anyone when the time comes.

[Future Plans]
Alright, onto our two plans for the time we'll be getting back after graduation:

First, umm, the not-so-fun part: a part-time job. I am thankful to everyone who has contributed to our Patreon. In fact, I have not touched a single cent from everyone's patronage. Like I promised in our Welcome Note, this is being saved for the purpose of one day being able to have a stable CharaStudio (weird sh*t happens recording below 25fps; like physics 'breaking', and not being able to have more characters on screen). Potential is there to start outputting in 1440p/2K too. But but but, I still do need to inject funds into these Patreon projects, on top of paying off life stuff, so I gotta get those funds with the extra time until I can be self-sufficient with these two projects.

Oh ho ho? 'Two' projects? One is the current animation videos we're doing, and the other is...

The second thing I planned on spending time on, is the whole reason why I even went to take on this course: to create a game. Although... I kinda got a bit more from the course besides programming. Like learning everything about software dev, networking, database management and web tech, information assurance, discrete mathematics, and other fancy tech words. I am an honours student, I promise I am not making these up.

There was a possibility I probably could've self-studied. But before I got into this course I was already stuck in prototyping and tutorial hell. Something like with these .gif:

I was working on a survival genre game prototype on Unity but I kept reworking and redoing game systems, 'art', decisions, and everything. I didn't have a foundation in programming and had no knowledge of how to plan and build a software from pre-development to release. Now I do to an extent. Plus, the practice with animating should help.

Umm, to be clear it won't look like the above .gif. It's just an old project I used to work on I wanted to share. It will not look like it at all.

We're still in the early stages of planning and we can't work on it because there is just no time yet, so we don't really want to say much. We will be incorporating our ability to create and animate scenes into this game. It's not just going to be a VN but I lean towards roguelike (arcade, combat, squad building, stats, items, singleplayer) with VN-esque storytelling and NSFW animations (of course).

The plan is to eventually release this as a free game with our patrons gaining early access to builds. After this is done, it will be a stepping stone towards new, more polished projects in the future.

Having said all of these I just want to be clear that after the temporary disruption this June/July, I will still be continuing to create animations with the usual schedule. These are just other things that would be taking up the old timeslots.

[Thank You]
Heya, thanks for reading.

By the way, dearest patrons, I am sacrificing one of ya'll to fund the downloads storage drive for everyone else. I hope you don't mind. Ecks dee.

Ohhh and the title picture is our April characters already converted and mostly tweaked. Further tweaks will be made in their own respective scenes.

Anyway, have fun and see ya on #32 release. o7

Thank you Jamison. I appreciate the concern. Once the dust settles we'll definitely work on a sustainable schedule for all these commitments for sure. o7
