Yeah names and faces are always hard at the beginning - to help clarify a few things (no spoilers, all of this is info from the first 2 eps): The guy in the library was Ha Do-yeong, Yeon-jin's husband. Not sure if you caught it, but Dong-eun was reading the same exact books as him in the library (books about the game Go). He's also the CEO of Jaepyeong Construction, which is why after Yeon-jin's Weather Forecast an Ad for Jaepyeong Construction plays, insinuating that Do-yeong paid for Yeon-jin's position as a Weather Forecaster. The two girls with Hye-jeong on the couch were Yeon-jin and Sa-ra. Yeon-jin, Sa-ra, and Jae-joon were the bullies that came from rich families, while Hye-jeong and Myeong-oh were not from rich families. Hye-jeong and Myeong-oh are of course still bullies, but you can see how they are treated differently within the friend group because of their lack of wealth. Also not sure if you noticed, but the girl working at Jae-joon's shop is the same girl who was assisting Yeon-jin during that scene with the weather forecast script writer. She also appeared briefly in one scene in ep 1, when young Dong-eun went back to the gym and told Yeon-jin "my dream is you" - she was the new girl being bullied. Excited for you to learn more about Yeo-jeong (the hospital intern)!

Ah, I’m glad you made this comment! I definitely thought that was Yeon-jin’s husband in the library but I don’t think I peeped that they were reading the same book. The names definitely help for the bullies, so i think the more i see them, the easier it’ll get. Interesting that they’re treated differently because of their lack of wealth. I thought they were just Yeon-jin’s punching bags for no reason. Definitely did not realize that same girl in assisting Yeon-jin is the same girl in the weather store AND the same girl from the gym in episode 1. Thank you for the extra help!💙💙

Figuring out who’s who is a bit dicey in the beginning of the show. You’ll get it with time and everything will make sense. Loving your reactions. Specially this one. I was the same way. The amount of cursing that came out of my mouth after watching episode one was more than I think I’ve ever cursed in my life. Well… maybe not but it was a lot. Bullying to this degree is something else. There’s a special place in hell for people like that.
