So the guy from the bridge with the cut on his neck was literally the same guy, just that he wasn’t wearing his all black assassin clothes. The cut on his neck was from when the evil father in law guy confronted him about the prince surviving and he held his sword to his neck. The person you previously thought was her brother was Mak-Gae, a young servant boy in her father’s house. He was the one she rescued when the prince and his friends were playing with/bullying him at the very beginning, and he was killed during the massacre on her family. Eunuch Yang isn’t childhood bestie. Childhood bestie was the guy the prince switched clothes with; the one whose body was retrieved from the river. The word ‘Eunuch’ is actually a title, not a name. Eunuchs were the highest ranking man-servants for the royal household. Yang was a personal attendant to the prince. From earlier episodes, you might recall he was the one who prepared the bath water with the rose petals. As someone who was by the prince’s side almost 24/7, and who dressed him everyday even to the extent of cutting his nails, everyone expected that they would’ve been together when the prince was attacked and both gotten killed. I’m glad to know I wasn’t the only one having trouble remembering who was who. When I watched this drama the first time I did the same thing. Also I feel in this drama they answer questions that I figured wouldn’t be revealed until later but they also give me 5 more questions when ever they reveal one thing. Lol. I also really love the parts where Won Deuk is trying to be a better husband for Hong shim. Kyungsoo adds so many facial expressions and times the blank ones perfectly.
