Taeil sent a message on Bubble saying that Jaehyun was okay🤍 Yes the 127 members really show their personal styles in their dancing. You can see each of their individual techniques and I love that. Personally Haechan, Mark and Taeyongs way of moving has always stood out alot to me. Also I guess it's called dance "practice" for a reason like, we shouldn't expect them to be perfect🌸

NCT are pretty known for their hard choreographies, as well as their synchronisation, but since they have so many different dancers - profiled dancers with distinct styles - they don't have that almost robotic-like synchronisation and their choreos tend to be more "swag" heavy, which wouldn't look as good/authentic if they were 100% in sync. I guess it depends on what the focus of the choreo is. I personally don't follow Seventeen, but I do know they prioritise synchronation and that's probably why the difference between them and NCT seem more jarring. Taeil told a fan that Jaehyun thankfully didn't hurt himself and was only surprised/schocked for a bit. Doyoung fell as well during their Lemonade performance. I really don't understand how the people holding those concerts can't provide safe conditions for their performers! That stage was slippery af, the floor was pretty much flooded with water! It's unnecessarrily dangerous and many artists have hurt themselves whenever they had to perform on these open concert stages in the rain. The companies should really demand better conditions or don't send their artists to those concerts.

I've watched many 'dancer reacts' or 'choreographer reacts' to them and they've all said it's intentional, so I think it depends largely on what the choreographer demands of them for each piece. Some are built for perfect sync, where others have a looser feel and their individual colors show. Of the NCT units, 127 definitely uses the looser style the most. Which does suit them well, especially Taeyong, who loves to add his own flare. BTS is another group that does this style now... they started out very VERY focused on sync and precision but then moved to more of an individual feel... a random comment I once read regarding Boy With Luv was, "how do they all jump at different times, but manage to land perfectly in sync?!" 😄 ... which just about sums up that style of choreo for me.

I kinda see your point about NCT 127. I guess because all members have own distinct styles. Like for me Haechan's movements always seem so graceful and Yuta have more sharp movements and so on. Btw I think that NCT dream seems more synchronized in their choreography. I am not familiar with groups you mentioned but I guess it depends on what groups put focus on.

I definitely know what u mean by thinking this era shows them being really synchronized compared to others. I’ve always seen nct127 not as the most synchronized group out there. When I say that I don’t mean it’s bad but like to me the members will do the same moves but in their own styles. So sometimes it doesn’t look the cleanest for synchronization but only bc they all have their own stylistic moves.

I definitely know what you're talking about in terms of 127's dance style. I saw a dancer who reacted to nct's whole discography categorize the units styles as like 127 being more individualistic, Dream being more synchronized, and WayV being more theatrical, and I feel like I agree with that. I LOVE the choreo to Sticker, it's one of my favorites, because it's just so interesting to look at. It's not like crazy fast, but the formations are so cool and they do the movements with such great energy. Also yeah, Jaehyun fell as did Doyoung and Johnny slipped, but they're all okay thankfully. Wet stages are so dangerous smh it's ridiculous they had to perform on that stage. Can't wait for more NCT!

I get what you mean about NCT’s synchronisation! I’m sure it is intentional as NCT 127 especially, tends to prioritise individual dancing styles over synchronization, and I think it also depends on what the choreography and the song needs. NCT127’s music is more gritty i would say, and not as kpoppy (lmao) . Their choreographies give off a more laidback, chill, swaggy style and i think that’s what they go for most of the times as it suits the whole NCT127 vibe and their songs more. They do have choreographies where they are def super synchronised, like Firetruck. Groups like Seventeen and Twice definitely prioritise synchronisation which is why their dances are so satisfying to watch!
