I absolutely loved this mini, I'm so impressed with aespa. I also wasn't fully expecting the styles they gave us, but I'm so glad they did. I love how versatile all the members are, they don't feel locked into their positions like some groups feel sometimes. Ningning is my bias and I absolutely love her on this album, but I've been noticing Giselle and I'm really liking her too. My favorite song after listening to this album on repeat since it came out was and still is Lucid Dream, but songs like I'll Make You Cry and Yeppi Yeppi have grown on me. I love the similar feelings I get listening to Aespa that I get listening to NCT, it's why they're my two faves lol thanks for the reaction!

I definitely with the feels between NCT AND Aespa. After listening more times, Lucid Dream is definitely my favorite too haha

Key also wore those glasses😎 I’m actually really loving all of the lore and backstory with SM these days because I know they’re planning on really tying it all together with SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa… I’m honestly looking forward to the future of this entire concept—with kpop becoming more popular, would it be insane to imagine a Marvel Universe tie-in with SM Universe?😅

I appreciate how you related all of those songs to Lucid Dream—I loved that song, but maybe it didn’t stand out to me too much because it sounded familiar😅 also—you mentioned the talking parts, which had made me think of Boyz II Men rather than Britney Spears, which made me feel ever older😭

My fav track is I’ll Make You Cry which is surprising because I usually prefer tracks like Lucid Dream! Especially Giselle’s opening line omg that gave me chills (though some ppl are saying it was Karina, so im not sure but eitherway whoever did that line NAILED it). I very rarely have crushes on female idols apart from Seulgi of Red Velvet, but Giselle is really coming for me LOL

just hoooow SM manages to be this lucky to find all these crazy talented people? the vocals?? their rap??? I can't stop listening to this EP, even the title track which was too much for me at first aespa's music heavily reminds me of another SM's experimental girl group f(x) sound, just that aespa sounds more progressive. and I love it so much, because I love f(x) music. sadly, they disbanded since SM didn't handle them well. their 2013 album Pink Tape is still one of the best albums in kpop and still sounds fresh today.
