Rosalina won the first fan art poll, and as an Olympic contender, she's been visited by a couple girls from the other team. They perhaps intend to get her out of the competition. A bit out of character, yes, but I'm sure they have their motivations. Can't have the star princess taking the spotlight when trying to impress a hedgehog you like.
