I wanted to update my old comment to share how I no longer own a phone, in case anyone else's phone is making them miserable (I tried for years but couldn't stop staring at the thing). I bought the oldest model cellular apple watch and set it up as standalone "phone". and its been great! I pay $10/month for the cell service, got to keep my number, and can call, text and get gps and a calendar. The old iphone is now just a disconnected ipod that stays in my car with nothing installed on it but the podcasts app (though I may end up selling it). Its a bit of an experimental set up, I realize, but a few weeks in and I couldn't be happier. The hope is that now that I made the swap, I'll never mindlessly stare at a phone again :)

Invested in Clean Email. What a great service. My brain is feeling lighter already.
