I needed to hear that piece on co-parenting. I need to let go and control what I can. I also feel validated with the trauma I’ve experienced in my life. I always thought of trauma as something crazy and violent, but coming from a massive middle class family, I’m understanding where these feelings come from in a way that I never had before. I understand now that my experience WAS trauma, and trauma doesn’t solely have the definition that I’ve always put onto it.
