The Lunar New Year is upon the World that Was, and so the tribes of the wilds and the wastes gather to worship and make offerings to the Wild Goddess... but this is a Lunar New Year that not even Wulf could have expected.

I like how we have the nixies and the dragons being ‘completely incompatible…no worse off for trying’ and Wulf’s ideas about changing minds/the world. Because the efforts matter. Really appreciate ‘female with female, male with male, male with female, and every configuration in between.’ We see limits in nature (nixies/dragons, Wulf’s references to his being injured/needing a healer), but this isn’t one of them. I thought ‘the feral queen above,’ might be a metaphor, but then there’s ‘respected by she,’ and ‘speak blasphemy.’ I’m thinking moon goddess, or a forest goddess (reworked as a different kind of huntress). Interesting notes on authorities; father, she, ‘eyes of the sepritory.’ Worshiping Redd had grown from Wulf, to the pack, to all of the occupants of the forest (‘how could you not cause them to worship’). That's a nice setup. Does Redd know it was too easy to catch him? I really appreciate that he gives her future options (human, wolf, bit of both), instead of making her choose between absolutes.

I just joined the other day and my friend recommended this series first to me. I’ve been watching your work on TikTok and this was a very pleasant surprise. This was absolutely amazing and I’ll have to give the whole thing another listen. This was awesome
