Ch. 5
Falling

The sudden intrusion into Felix's unexplored core left him nearly breathless as Cassandra continued to push slowly into him. It was like nothing else he had ever experienced in his life, half pain, half incredible pleasure. He felt like he was being stretched to his breaking point, and yet she was so gentle. Every motion and movement pushed him further and further, but her soothing words, soft lips, and loving caresses made it all so heavenly. Her paws were firm upon him, keeping him still and lifting his hips occasionally to better angle herself down into him. He gasped as he felt a thick swell of heat and ridges pass through his barrier and he let out a strained cry, arching his back up off the bed. She held off, pausing in her slow advance, and began to lick at his throat and cheek, crooning softly in his ear. Her hair obscured most of his vision as she rested there, content to just pulse and gently rock her hips back and forth, causing what was already inside to almost dance in tiny steps.

The Human felt pressure, real pressure building in his abdomen and groin, and he groaned as she delved a little deeper, as if seeing how much he could really take. He couldn't imagine that there could possibly be more, and then she surged in another inch or so and his world had to reset once again. He felt her rising up, meeting her hooded eyes with his own. Her face was locked in a panting smile, lips pulling back every now and then to reveal the tips of her fangs, her ears folded back against her skull, and her powerful arms shuddering as she kept herself on point and him still. He had never seen a woman so rapturously interested in him, so happy, and so in need. It was almost frightening, the way her purple eyes flashed, the way her muscles bunched and coiled like steel springs beneath the pale fur, and the way she continuously felt as she surged inside of him to the beat of a frantically pounding heart.

His hands, shaky, lifted up and touched the paws currently gripping his hips, thumb pads meeting across his belly. She started and looked back into his face, her gaze having been locked on their joined hips and his own unattended shaft currently jostling about at each movement she made. She licked her lips and nose, panting harder before she smiled wider down at him. Her hair had fallen over one eye and she looked absolutely radiant, a dominatrix at the height of her craft.

"You good, baby?" she asked, the familiar nickname and the way she said it making his heart soar. Even if it wasn't real, even if she would never remember him after tonight. He had a girlfriend right now. He nodded. His world was hazy as she adjusted her seating and pulled him up more into her lap, back now arching. The weight now was entirely in her control and she slid even deeper into him, making both of them moan.

"Any better..." he panted. "And I'm going to die..."

She tittered and lifted his legs then, laying them across her shoulders and then leaning down. He drew in a ragged gasp as she went almost the entire length in, now only a large, rounded shape knocking at his door while she pulsed inside. "Oh, am I about to break you?" she teased breathlessly. He tried to nod, but she shook her head, hair bouncing before her eyes glittered evilly. "How does it feel?" She gave an abrupt slap of her hips down against him, making his entire world jar and go fuzzy as he cried out. His fingers lifted to grip one of the pillows above him, knuckles going white.

"F-full!" he panted out. She immediately repeated the heavier thrust, using over half of her length to move in and out of him, and his world began to dissolve into static. He could barely think, unable to look away from her rolling assets and bundled muscular frame as she used him. The way she was looking down at him, the sheer predator air and the smell of her was all becoming too much for him. His abdomen clenched, burning pressure in his lower half, and he frantically gripped the pillow harder, pulling it down over his face and hiding from the overbeating pleasure and heat permeating through his whole body. His arms wrapped around it, trying to conceal his embarrassing reaction to what she was doing to him.

But then he felt the pillow being tugged out of his weak-fingered grasp and he tried to fight back, keep a hold, but the slick satin slid from his fingers and his arms flopped back to his sides pathetically. She shook her head down at him, teeth flashing, and one visible eye glowing softly despite how her hips continued to thrust, now setting her chest to swaying hypnotically above him and making the bed begin to rock back and forth against the wall. "No, no, no.." she teased in a singsong voice. "There will be no hiding from me now...I want to see every expression that adorable face of yours can make."

He met her eyes frantically, searching for an ounce of pity in those amethyst canine orbs. "P-please...it's...too much...I can barely..."

The Husky Anthro chuckled darkly, arms sliding down from his hips to grip his shoulders as she moved even faster. His breath began to burst from him more and more quickly, the bed thumping against the wall. "Shhh..." she whispered down into his ear, nibbling then on his earlobe and then down his throat. She never once lost her rhythm. "It's all going to be okay, Felix..." Her voice was warm like honey and melted him, his frantically clenching muscles releasing and allowing her to move exactly as she wanted. "I am going to take good care of you tonight." Her eyes met his again and she slowed her pace. He actually felt himself groaning as the pressure peaked, needing her to keep going. But then her large paws were ripping something open and sliding a wet ring around his shaft. He looked down, surprised to see that she had slid a condom onto him as he lay trapped between their bodies.

She rose above him again, paws gently sliding along his body to cup beneath his shoulders. And then she was lifting him up off the bed. His legs wrapped around her hips on reflex as he felt like he was about to fall, only for her strong paws to firmly continue elevating him until they were eye to eye. She kneeled on the bed, firmly still locked inside, and then allowed gravity to force him back down to her base again. His head came to rest against her plush chest and he groaned out weakly as she completely supported his weight, cradling him against her even as her hips began to move again. He hung there in her grasp, powerless, helpless, and utterly adoring every motion she made.

She panted down against his ear as she slid slowly off the bed, taking it one paw at a time, and then she was standing. She held him easily, paws powerful and firm upon him as she mixed her thrusts with now actively lifting and lowering him onto her. He could barely believe what was happening before she turned and faced them sideways, now facing the large reflective penthouse sliding glass doors. He saw himself then, hanging in her arms, head resting atop of her breasts and then he looked down. He was utterly shocked to see his own naked body hanging in her grasp so easily, able now to see every detail of what she was doing to him.

It was singularly the hottest thing he had ever seen, and the most wonderful thing anyone had ever done to him. He looked up in the mirror's reflection to meet her eyes, his heart-melting again at the dominating but gentle smile on her muzzle. She growled into his ear, nibbling on it, licking away the sting even as she kept moving.

"Tell me what you want..." she growled gently.

"I...want..." he struggled to get out, only to cry out harder as she gave several harder thrusts, now slapping his reddened cheeks against her firm muscular furry thighs.

"No hesitating..." she said, voice still low, husky, and loving. "Tell me exactly what you want. Because I'll give it to you. All you need to do..." her voice went even more hushed and low, now breathily whispering into his ear. "Is trust me."

He groaned and buried his face into her cleavage, feeling her chuckle more than he actually heard it. "I do..." he said desperately as she kept moving, bouncing him in her grasp and his lower body nearly numb. "I do, I do..."

"Then go ahead, my adorable little client...my special boyfriend...my very, very wonderful birthday boy..." she said, moving faster again and something much thicker now pounding at his entrance. Her breath was raspier and more permeated with a growl. "Tell me...or...if you can't...give it to me instead..."

He stiffened more in her grasp as she felt her swelling, that large, round shape pushing more and more insistently up against him. He arched his back, crying out. There were no words as he came, only a ragged sound that left him breathless. She had timed it perfectly.

Cassandra gave a savage, satisfied snarl, and shoved hard against him right as he was clenching. Her knot surged inside, locking them together, and he felt her bulge and swell just as he was doing. He clung to her, arms trembling, and his legs shaking around her hips. They rode it out together, arm in arm, and both of them gasping, moaning, and panting in almost perfect unison. He didn't feel her walk them over to the bed. He didn't feel her bend down. All he knew was that one second his back was exposed to the cool airconditioning, and the next, he was back on the bed, Cassandra atop of him.

He didn't feel the passage of time, nor recognized the actual hour that had transpired since she had started all of this. He only felt the warmth of her fur, the wetness of her tongue as she licked at his cheek, and the soft sounds she made as they remained tied together. His hands stroked her hair and fur, his legs hanging off of her hips. He gasped for air as she finally lifted up, her own arms shuddering, and their eyes met once again. She leaned down, kissed his forehead, and then began to work on pulling out of him. It was excrutiating and unpleasant to feel her have to dislodge what was currently inside of his smaller body, but she was gentle, slow, and took her time. Eventually, she popped free, her shaking paws removing both of their filled condoms and throwing them away before she rejoined him, snuggling in tight against his slender, sweat-streaked body.

They laid like that for a while, her paws stroking and massaging him, and periodically they would kiss long and hard, wrestling tongues and lips over and over before breaking apart for air and more snuggles. He had never felt like this before, so completely satisfied. He wasn't even sure when he drifted off.

***

Felix awoke slowly, currently laying alone on the bed. The air in the room was hazy, and it smelled different than it had. Not unpleasant, actually rather like something fruity. He looked around blearily, trying to sit up. His entire body protested and he groaned softly, unable to move.

"I wouldn't try that right now," came her warm, soothing voice, and he looked over to see her sitting in an armchair, facing the sliding glass doors. She was completely nude still, filling the chair with her fluff and muscle, but she met his eyes easily in the reflection of the glass. She smiled, taking another pull on an E-Cig. "Hope you don't mind..." she said, blowing out through her nose and causing two jets of smoke to billow forth. "There is nothing like a good smoke after amazing sex..."

He watched her pull on the device again, fascinated at how she moved, how she breathed, how her face glowed as it was framed by yet another cloud of mist. He had never seen a more beautiful sight in his life. He wanted to go snuggle into her lap, curl up there and forget the world entirely. His body wouldn't let him though.

"Can I...come sit with you?" he asked, feeling embarrassed that he had to ask for help to even move. "I'm...kind of cold."

Cassandra grinned, stood from her chair, crossed over to him, and plucked him up as easily as she might have a child. She returned to where she had been sitting, resumed her position, but now with him nestled right where he had hoped to be, head on her collarbone and curled into her. Her paw came to rest against his naked back, stroking softly. "Don't you worry about a thing," she said, blowing out another cloud of smoke. "I'll warm you up."

He sighed, completely happy for the first time in his life, and he nestled deeper into her fluffy fur. He stared out of the window at the tops of the skyscrapers in the distance and the tremendous view of the hotel's backlot. He saw an illuminated swimming pool, and the stars shining directly overhead. He could hear the steady thump of her heartbeat underneath his ear, and the swell of her breathing. His eyes misted and he sniffed.

Her paw stroked his hair. "Everything all right, Felix?" she asked in a warm, motherly voice that just made it all worse. He sniffed again. "Oh you poor, broken little thing..." she sighed and put down her E-Cig before she wrapped her arms around him tighter and hugged him to her. "I know...I know... It's all a bit much for you right now. But hey..." She turned his face up to hers. "Happy Birthday!"

He chuckled, wiping at his eye with a knuckle. "Thank you..." he muttered, voice rough. "I just don't...want this to end."

She sighed softly and kissed his ear. "All things have to end, sweetheart," she murmured. "It's how you treasure them. It's how you learn what really matters to you."

He chuckled again. "Next thing you're gonna tell me is that if you love something, you have to set it free?"

She paused, turning his face back up to hers and looking deep into his eyes. Hers were like violet pools, drawing him in. "If we aren't free to pursue our lives, how can we say we've truly lived?" she asked.

He closed his eyes, unable to take her wisdom and common sense. "You've lived...I've existed. In a few hours..." he felt the burning pain grow in his throat and he hung his head. "You leave, and all of this becomes just a dream. I'll think back on it as I go throughout my life, and know that I felt real perfection, everything I ever wanted, once. I've never been free, not once."

He felt her lips brush his forehead again. She leaned back in the armchair more, drawing him up her body and making them lay eye to eye. She brushed each of his eyelids, making him open them to look down at the beautiful Husky woman. "You have to free yourself," she said, voice soft. "Find out what you really want out of life, and go for it. You can't live in fear of what if, can't survive thinking about what could have been. What has been is, but it doesn't have to be what comes next."

He nodded, unable to look away from her, but also unable to shake away the pain. This woman was everything he had ever wanted, dreamed of, yearned for, and punished himself for wanting. She saw him, knew his pain, and did her best to distract him. Maybe distraction would be all she ever was, but it was worth all the pain before her to know that he had had tonight at her side. He didn't feel ashamed of himself as much. Maybe...

She smiled then, soft and gentle, and she rose, tucking him into her arms and carrying him back to the bed. "Now that you're awake," she said, laying down again on her back and making him lay atop of her. "Like you said, we still have a few hours left together, and I'd like to make my boyfriend's birthday the best he's ever had." She stroked his cheek with one paw, and reached down with the other to stimulate him enough to then slide between her thighs. "Once more here, and then why don't we take a shower?" Her bright eyes glittered. "I promised that you'd be completely satisfied tonight, and I look to give you that and more. I'm all yours tonight."

Her eyes beckoned, her paws welcomed him in, her muscles clenched possessively. Felix kissed Cassandra hard, his cheeks wet, but his heart soaring as they dimmed the lights, now using only taste, and feel, and smell to navigate the perfection of one another's body. They went twice on the bed like that, once with her on her back and another on her knees, and then they showered. Once there, she had used him again, lovingly and firmly, bending him over to brace against the wall and washing his back with soap lathered across her chest even as she plumed his depths again. He lost track of how many times they went, his whole world swallowed up by purple eyes, long white fluffy tails, powerful limbs, and the sounds she made.

In the morning, she was gone, the bedroom in complete disarray, but a note, written by hand, poised next to his pillow. He read it, entire body aching, satisfied, and longing.

"Dear Felix,

I don't say things like this often, but I really hope you find exactly what you're looking for. Honestly, and truly. Our time together was nothing short of utter bliss, and I'm glad that for one night I could give you what you always deserved to have. Someone is going to make your wildest dreams come true someday, and I can't help but feel jealous of whoever that is. You have your whole life ahead of you, with limitless potential, and I just wish, more than I've ever wished before, that I could have met you in life sooner. Maybe things would be different. But you are special. You are desirable. You are handsome, sweet, affectionate, and so utterly better than half of the world deserves. I wish you were mine, and I wish I could be yours. If our paths cross again, I won't regret it.

Yours, tonight, and forever in your dreams if you look for me,

Cass."

Felix wiped the tears from his eyes, and then noticed there was a final line at the bottom. He had read and reread those lines over and over, etching them into his mind, imagining her writing them beside him as he slept, even almost felt the kiss she had no doubt left to linger on his slumbering cheek.

"P.S. You smile in your sleep. I had to leave before I cried. If you ever...need something, like someone to talk to, or maybe late at night when you've had an awful day and you aren't yet in the arms of Ms. Perfect, hit me up. I can't promise I'll always be there to answer, but if you need a friend, or just a picture, those I can do."

He stared hard at the 10 numbers at the end of her message. He bit his lip hard, hand shaking, and he carefully folded the letter up and put it into his wallet. He dressed slowly, sore all over, and checked his phone. 6 missed calls. Joy. He hailed a taxi to drive him back to Kallos, and spent the next hour on the phone with his mother, letting her know he wasn't dead, and then another hour talking to his dad about the press conference that evening. When he finally arrived by at his apartment building, Ben was waiting for him. He asked no questions about where Felix had been, drew up a bath to soak his sore muscles, and set out a preapproved suit and tie for that evenings events. Black, dark blue, black. It was a somber outfit to say the least.

As he soaked, he asked Benedict how his day with his grandfather had gone, and listened happily to Ben talk on and on about how excited the little girl had been, the places they had gone, and the new movie they had seen together. He was happy for Ben, but every time he glanced at his phone, he felt the urge to reach out. Not with Ben here though, it would have felt too awkward.

Finally, Benedict excused himself after Felix got out of the bathtub, did his hair, and began to get dressed. He had insisted on doing it himself. He plucked up his phone as he changed his wallet from his casual pants to his inner pocket of his suit jacket, typed in the number she had given him, and sent her a quick text.

"Cross. Made it home safe. Hope you did too. Thank you for last night."

He put down the phone, wondering if he had time to get a quick breakfast, then jumped as his phone went off. He warily picked it up, and then his eyes watered at the corners.

"Cass. Yes I did, although I'm very sore. Props! You are most welcome, and I'm glad you got my note."

He sat down on the end of his bed. "I have a long day ahead of me, but I can face it now after your advice."

"I'm glad," she said, then texted immediately after that. "Need a pick me up? I'm off the clock for the day and relaxing at home."

His face flushed and guiltily he pondered it. "If...it doesn't bother you," he sent, then spent the next minute smacking himself in the forehead. His phone went off again, chirping with a media attachment. He opened it. Immediately he wished he wasn't wearing these slacks. She was posed on her bed, completely bare except for a t-shirt bearing Ms. Sable on it, which stopped right at her hips, leaving everything else open and visible. The shirt was autographed too. Her eyes were coy and playful.

He stared down at the picture of her, his face glowing, and then he took a deep breath. "If I wasn't exhausted, and way too dressed up, I'd be running off to the bathroom for this." He felt stupid and overly informative as if after everything they had done that he was being crude.

"Aww, so I don't get one in return?" she texted immediately. "Unfair. You like my shirt at least?"

"Yeah, I have one just like it, even signed too. Were you at that convention?"

"No, sadly, I was working at the time, but my friend went for me and snagged one in my size. I would have loved to have gone in cosplay and meet the actress. I hear she's a total dom. Maybe she would go for you?"

His heart sank a bit for some reason, but he texted back. "Lol, sure. Like she doesn't already have a boyfriend."

"I actually think she's married..." Cassandra texted. Another text came a moment later, with a news article attached. "Yep, she's married, and lookie who to! ;) " He opened the link and actually snorted with laughter. Ms Sable's actress was walking down a runway with cameras on all sides, paw in paw with a rather diminutive, silver furred fox. He even recognized him!

"Woah, no way, she married Gio Grant?!" he sent back, actually smiling. "That's awesome, they always seemed like a good couple in the movie. Is it a celebrity marriage?"

"I don't think so, it seems genuine..." she said. A minute later, she texted again. "Yep, Mia Silvers announces the secret, long-time marriage between herself and fellow co-star Gio Grant. That's sweet."

"Yeah!" he sent back, then paused. His fingers moved without his meaning to. "Is it bad that I miss you?" He could barely believe he had sent that, but she responded immediately.

"Bad? No. Sweet as hell? Oh yeah. I admit it was hard as hell to leave you this morning, but I knew that I never would if I didn't go while you were asleep. You sure I can't have a picture?"

Felix chuckled and lifted his camera, even posing a bit for her and smiling. He sent it, face flushed.

"Hello handsome!" she sent back, along with several emoticons of a smiley face with hearts for eyes. "And so snazzy! Going somewhere special?"

"Family thing tonight in Kallos Central," he said abashedly. "Watch much news?"

"Some," she said. "What channel?"

"8. At 9:00 PM. I guess there's nothing wrong with telling you that." His doorbell rang and he glanced up, sighing. He turned back to face his phone. "I guess I have to get going...is it okay if I still text you later, like tomorrow?"

"Probably not..." she sent, and he nodded, despite the lump in his throat. "I guess for professionalism's sake I can't really be sexting a previous client while I go back to work. Like I said if you're ever lonely or have something to get off your mind, shoot me a text and I'll always read it. You and I will always have that date. I'll see if I can't watch that news story tonight, although I'm very curious. Bye, Mr. Cross."

He turned off his phone and tucked it into his pocket before he finally buzzed the door open. He grimaced to see his brothers waltzing in, and he met them with half-hearted hugs and slaps on the back. They had come to collect him for a company meal and to talk to some exclusive interviewers in preparation for that night. He wasn't looking forwards to any of it, but he kept the memory of Cassandra's smile in his mind the whole day. Somehow, it got him through.

***

Later that evening, Cassandra relaxed on her pull out bed, a plate of pizza rolls cooling next to her, and a very sleepy and satisfied looking Tess snuggled into her side. She hadn't put on any other clothes save for the Ms. Sable shirt, except for a simple pair of underwear that didn't ride up in the front. She plucked up the remote to their television and turned it on.

Tessa yawned. "So...how was the job?" she asked, stretching languidly and purring.

Cassandra hesitated. "Good...very good..." her tone must have tipped off Tessa because the Cat girl sat up looking intrigued. "Ok...extremely good. Probably the most fun I've ever had on a job. Made me wish it was...real."

Tessa's eyes went wide, ears standing straight up. "Wow...what was he? Stag? Horse? Woooooolf?" she flicked her paw at Cassandra playfully. "You total tease...I bet he's head over heels for you if it was that good."

Cass snorted and growled a bit. "He's so much better off than wanting someone like me..." she said regretfully. Tessa deflated beside her, looking surprised. "He has everything in life to look forwards to. He just felt trapped by his life...something I sometimes relate to."

"Aww hunny..." Tessa murmured and she wrapped herself around her friend. "I'm sure you made his entire world better. You're like that."

She shrugged. "How was your date?"

Tessa blushed and her tail waved. "G-Good...we all had fun..." She laid her head on Cassandra's chest and stared at the TV. "So what are we watching?"

"Just a...news story," Cassandra said lamely. "Apparently it's a big deal." She turned it to channel 8. The time was 9:05, so they were a little late. The screen flickered before a well-dressed Human man appeared behind a podium, speaking into a microphone. Something about him looking familiar.

"...and we here at Enson's Trading are completely delighted to announce the opening of our newest Branch here in Kallos!" the man said confidently, deep voice baritone and confident. "It's a dream of mine that has taken many years to come to fruition, and today, that dream comes to reality. None of this could have been done without the support of my family, colleagues, and a few well-placed bribes." This last part he said while winking down at the cameras, followed by a rousing round of laughs. "But today, I am over joyed to reveal the new Head of my newest branch, the Executive Director of Enson's Trading, Kallos Division, and my oldest son!"

He turned to wave off screen, and Cassandra rolled her eyes, leaning down to pluck up a pizza roll and pop it into her mouth. She chewed gingerly on the still overly hot snack, wondering if they needed another minute or so to cool.

Beside her, she heard Tessa whistle and purr. "Woah, look at the cutie..."

Cass glanced up at the screen. The Husky froze, breath catching, and the pizza roll went down the wrong tube. She devolved into hacking, coughing, and wheezing, smacking herself in the chest and sitting up in shock. Her eyes went wide and streamed with small droplets of tears from choking before she swallowed the lump in her chest, waving away Tessa and snatching up the remote. She turned up the volume, unable to believe what she was seeing.

"No...fucking...way," she said slowly, voice hoarse.

"What?" Tessa asked, fur standing on end from surprise and alarm. "What about him?"

"No...fucking...goddamn...way..." Cassandra muttered softly, eyes fixed on the screen of the TV. "You...have got...to be kidding me..."

Felix stared back into the cameras, face flushed and with a hesitant, nervous smile on his youthful face as he spoke to the reporters. He wore the same dark blue tuxedo. His eyes were the same bright, emerald green. Cassandra's paw thumped down against the bed and her heart did a weird flipflop as it first jumped into her throat and then plummeted down into her stomach. How could she ever have hoped for something better...how could she have ever dreamed that last night was even remotely a real possibility... She felt a small smile creasing her muzzle, and tears streaked her cheeks.

Tessa stared at her in alarm. "Cass! What's wrong?"

She nodded at the screen. "That's him."

"Who?"

"Mr. Cross. My client..." She stared at the flustered and chattering face of the young man from the previous night, a face she had seen joyous, afraid, tearful, rapturous, and emotional. He looked uncomfortable, unhappy to be there, stifled by the flashes of the cameras and the people surrounding him, all with the same pasted on smiles as they stood arm in arm with the weakly smiling new Executive Director for one of the biggest Marketing firms in the world. He posed for several shots, then took a pair of scissors and cut the over large ribbon leading to the front doors. Afterwards he walked slightly off screen, waving away reporters and sat down in a chair off to the side. He pulled out his phone, and the camera swung back to the podium, where his father stood.

"Seems my boy is a bit camera shy!" Felix Enson Sr. said, laughing heartily. Everyone else laughed.

Tessa snorted and she knocked Cass in the arm playfully. "Yeah right..." She turned away, stealing a pizza roll for herself.

Cassandra's phone buzzed, making them both jump. She reached for it, but Tess beat her to it teasingly, opening it up and scrolling to the new message. The Cat girl froze, smile stuck on her face before sinking away. She looked slowly over at Cass, eyes wide. "Oh...my...god..." she whispered, and Cassandra angrily snatched it away from her.

It was from Felix, his picture from earlier still visible in the feed. "I'm sorry."

Cassandra stared at the screen of her phone in shock. Tears leaked down her cheeks slowly and she didn't understand why. "Felix..."
