This is, as far as I know, an old Scottish lullaby.  That's me singing and playing all instruments.  The lyrics are in some kind of old Scots dialect.

I don't know what "baloo balleerie" means.  It is probably nonsense or it might be derived from an old Gaelic phrase but I'm sure the meaning is irrelevant.  Each line ends with the phrase "oor Ben Noo" which I parse as "over(?) Ben Noo," Ben Noo being a place name since "ben" is a Scots word for "mountain."

Verse 1:  Gang awa' peerie fairies (go away, weird fairies) frae (from) oor Ben Noo.

Verse 2:  Down come the bonnie angels (bonnie means "pretty" and this line ends with "TAE oor Ben Noo" which means the angels are coming to the place instead of leaving it)

Verse 3:  Sleep soft, my baby (ending with "IN oor Ben Noo" which implies that "oor" is part of the place name or it might mean "our" in a possessive sense.)

If I have any Scottish listeners perhaps they can explain it.
