Sudden gear shift!

This is a parody of one of the other campus comic strips, about a goth guy named "Glum."  The guy who drew it lived next door to me in the dorms one year.

Was his comic bad? What did his character Glum do?

I don't remember it very well. As I recall, Glum just moped around and acted .. well .. glum. The strip occasionally used some clever wordplay, but I am not sure if it was a celebration or a mockery of the Goth aesthetic.
