Planear esta sesión fue todo un sueño y no solo porque las fotos se ven todas bonitas de hada del bosque, si no el simple hecho de producir todo lo que se hizo ese día. Esto fue gracias a ustedes, mecenas. Ésta fue la primera sesión que me he echado en film al 100%. No hay ningún tipo de backup en digital ni nada, así que si las fotos no salían, no había segundas oportunidades y pues también es algo caro. Con Elian dispare 3 rollos de Portra 800 en 120 y 1 de 35mm igual Portra 800, y los mandé a revelar en Richard Photolab en EUA. Y aunque usé de exposímetro mi cámara digital, no sabía si la expo que medía la cámara digital iba a funcionar con el film, pero como pueden ver, quedó increíblemente bien. Al final le hice unos pequeños ajustes al film para que quedaran lo más parejas posibles.

Disparé con la Pentax 67 y mi recién adquirido en ese momento: 105mm 2.4, un lente que estuve cazando un buen rato y con el que encontré un muy buen deal y un 75mm 4.5.

Amé mucho el mood de Elian. Como siempre súper metida en el papel e increíblemente profesional. Hay incluso unas fotos que sí quiero mandar a la revista digital de Vogue de lo lindas que se ven.

Los outfits me los prestaron en Ophelia Showroom, y los ramos los compré en el mercado de Coyoacán, donde llevé referencias de los vestidos y me hicieron estos ramos tan hermosos. El Lugar se llama Boxque Teva, que es un hotel boutique hermoso rumbo al desierto de los leones. ¡Super recomendado!

Planning this photoshoot was a dream come true, not only because the photos have a fairytale vibe, but only for producing everything that was done that day. And all that was thanks to you patrons!

This was the first photo shoot using Film 100%. No digital backup or anything, so if the photos didn’t go well, we didn’t have second chances. And, it’s also kind of expensive. I used 3 Portra 800 in 120 rolls and one 35mm Portra 800. I developed them in Richard Photolab in USA. Even though I used my digital camera as an exposure meter, didn’t know exactly if it was going to work. But, as you can see, it did! I adjusted the Film so the pics would be as straightest as possible.

Used the 67 Pentax and my new arrival: 105mm 2.4, a lenses that I wanted for a long time.

I really loved Elian’s vibe. As usual, incredibly professional and stuck in her role. There are some photos that I do want to send to Vogue's digital magazine of how beautiful they look.

The outfits were lent by Ophelia Showroom, and I bought the bouquets in Coyoacan market, where I took the dress references and they ended up doing these beautiful bouquets. The place is calles Boxque Teva. It’s a beautiful boutique hotel on the way to Desierto de Los Leones. Highly recommended!
