Nomás vean este pedazo de sesión jajajajaja. Amo trabajar con Meli & Pao de pareja, porque aparte de que tienen una excelente química, tienen muy buenas ideas. Si no mal recuerdo, la idea de ir al jardín botánico de la UNAM a hacer fotos fue de Pao y claro, ella es la que se aventó a hacer topless, con el peligro de que nos corrieran del lugar, pero todo bien jajaja. Una vez que cerraron esa área, aún teníamos luz y decidimos buscar uno de esos montecitos que hay por la UNAM para hacer las últimas fotos de la sesión, que neta quedaron hermosas. Ni parece que las hicimos en un cachito de pasto jajajaja <3

1- Hemos vivido miles de anécdotas cagadas, tantas que hemos olvidado muchas. Hemos dicho varias veces que necesitamos empezar a escribirlas para no olvidarlas. Una que recordamos muy bien es cuando estábamos viajando por la península de Yucatán y Meli me prestó una blusa bonita para tomar unas fotos. Al terminar ella me dijo que me la quitara para no ensuciarla y yo me enojé contestándole que no fuera grosera, que no iba a pasarle nada a su blusa, que me dejara quedármela puesta. Diez minutos después íbamos en el coche y yo decidí tomarle un trago a mi café frío que había comprado en la tiendita. Justo cuando lo acerqué a mi boca, pasamos por un tope. Todo el café se me cayó encima de la blusa de Melissa. Después de llorar de la risa por horas, nos paramos en un baño público para que yo lavara en el lavabo la blusa y poder seguir con nuestro camino.

2- Yo diría que más que estar en momentos específicos, siempre estamos ahí. No me refiero a que simplemente nos hablemos por teléfono para platicar, si no a que estamos presentes en la vida de la otra. Nos frecuentamos muy seguido, tristes o felices estamos juntas y hacemos las cosas que nos gusta hacer. Solo por esa razón, ya nos ayudamos a estar mejor. Nos regalamos tiempo, y creo que ese es el mejor apoyo.

- MELI

1- Tenemos muchas historias que nos hacen llorar de la risa. En nuestra juventud hicimos muchas cosas muy aventadas: una vez tomamos un camión de Xalapa a Xico y ahí nos fuimos hacia los pastizales. Llegamos a un camino en donde decidimos aceptar el ride de un par de chicos que iban en un vocho hacia los ranchos lejanos, después de huir de un sujeto que insistía en ir con nosotras y comer hongos alucinógenos. Como no quisimos entrar al coche porque nos parecía peligroso, convencimos a los muchachos de que era nuestro sueño viajar en la defensa de un vochito... así que minutos después íbamos trepadas en la parte de atrás del cochecito alejándonos del pequeño pueblo. Cuando sentimos que ya estábamos lejos, tocamos el techo y nos dejaron bajar, no sin antes invitarnos a un rancho "a unas dos horas". Declinamos la invitación y regresamos al pueblo. Casi llegando pudimos ver algo que para Pao era claramente una mujer cargando a un bebé, pero para mí era un vato raro besando a una cabra. ¿Quién tenía razón? Yo. ¿Quién era el más extrañado por la situación? La cabrita.

2- Nuestra amistad es hermosa y grande porque tenemos la confianza de decirnos lo bueno y lo malo, siempre. No me siento juzgada cuando hablo con ella y estoy segura de que siempre me dice todo pensando en mi bien, a pesar de que no sea lo más fácil de comunicar. Hemos hecho tantas cosas juntas y tenemos mucho en común: nos encanta tomar fotos, hacer actividades al aire libre, viajar y aprender nuevas cosas. Pao me llena y me hace sumamente feliz crecer a su lado.

3-  Recuerdo perfectamente cuando entré al salón donde hicimos el examen de admisión a la prepa. "Qué niña tan seria", pensé al ver a Pao sentada con su espalda recta, sus lápices acomodados y su cabello perfectamente peinado. Ella cuenta que yo llegué tarde y que hice un cagadero al sentarme, además de que no llevaba lápiz y tuvieron que prestarme uno. Yo no recuerdo nada de eso. Cuando terminé el examen les dije "suerte" a los que seguían escribiendo. Me fulminó con la mirada. Nunca hubiera imaginado que meses después comenzaría una amistad que estoy segura, será de por vida.

1- We have lived thousands of funny anecdotes, so many that we already forgot some. Several times we’ve said that we need to write them downs so we won't forget them. One that we remember very well is when we were traveling through the Yucatan Peninsula and Meli lent me a nice blouse to take some pictures. After that she told me to take it off so it wouldn’t get dirty; I got angry telling her not to be rude, that nothing would happen to her blouse, that she should let me keep it on. Ten minutes later we were in the car and I decided to have a drink of the cold coffee I had bought in the store. Just when I brought it to my mouth, we went through a speed bump. All the coffee spilled on Melissa's blouse. After crying from laughter for hours, we stopped at a public bathroom so I could wash the blouse in the sink and continue our way.

2- I would say that rather than being there in specific situations, we are always there. I do not mean that we simply talk to each other on the phone, but rather that we are present in each other's lives. We frequent each other very often, whether we are sad or happy, we are together and do the things we like to do. Just for that reason, we are already helping each other to be better. We give each other time, and I think that is the best support.

- MELI

1- We share so many stories that make us cry of laughter. When we were young we did many bold things: once we took a bus from Xalapa to Xico and there we went for a walk through the pastures. We arrived on a road where we decided to accept the ride from a couple of guys who were traveling on a Volkswagen to farther ranches, after running from a weirdo who insisted on going with us and eating hallucinogenic mushrooms. As we didnt want to get in the car because it seemed dangerous, we convinced the boys that it had always been our dream to travel on a Volkswagen bumper... so minutes later we found ourselves climbing on the back of the car and leaving the small town. When we felt we were far enough, we knocked the roof and they let us down, not without inviting us to a ranch that was two hours away. We declined the invitation and returned to the village. When we were just arriving we saw something that Pao thought was clearly a woman carrying a baby, but to me it seemed like a weird guy kissing a goat. Who was right? Me. Who was the most surprised by this situation? The goat.

2- Our friendship is beautiful and great because we have the confidence to tell ourselves the good and the bad, always. I don't feel judged when I talk to her and I'm sure she always tells me everything thinking about my own good, even though it's not the easiest to communicate. We have done so many things together and we have a lot in common: we love taking photos, doing outdoor activities, traveling and learning new things. Pao fills me and it makes me very happy to grow by her side

3- I remember perfectly when I entered the room where we did the high school admission exam. "What a serious girl," I thought when I saw Pao sitting with her back straight, her pencils arranged and her hair perfectly combed. She says that I was late and that I made a mess when I sat down, besides that I didn't have a pencil and they had to lend me one. I don't remember any of that. When I finished the exam, I said "good luck" to those who were still writing. She glared at me. I never imagined that months later a friendship would begin that I am sure will be for life.
