🏹⚡🌲 In the deep, enchanted woods where magic and nature entwine, a powerful spell known as "Stormshot" was conceived. This spell, a secret of the elven kind, harnesses the raw energy of thunderstorms, channeling it into the flight of an arrow. It was said to have originated during a time of great need, when the elven defenders of the forest were pressed by a darkness that threatened to engulf their ancient home.

In their direst hour, an elven sorcerer, in tune with the forces of nature, reached out to the heart of the storm. The sky responded, infusing their arrows with the might of thunder and the swiftness of lightning. Each arrow loosed with this spell echoed the storm's fury, turning the tide in defense of their realm.  🏹⚡🌲

Stormshot

Evocation Cantrip

Casting Time: 1 action

Range: Self (weapon's range)

Components: V, S, M (a piece of ammunition or a throwing weapon)

Duration: Instantaneous

Classes: Artificer, Sorcerer, Wizard

You imbue a piece of ammunition or a thrown weapon with the force of a storm. As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a ranged attack with the weapon against one creature within the weapon's range, otherwise the spell fails. Additionally, the target and each creature within 5 feet of it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 1d4 thunder damage.

At Higher Levels: The spell's damage increases when you reach higher levels. At 5th level, the thunder damage increases to 2d4, at 11th level to 3d4, and at 17th level to 4d4.
