When you wear these boots, you can use an action and speak a command word to activate a golden aura. This aura extends 30 feet from you, and maintaining it requires concentration, as if you were concentrating on a spell.

While the aura is active, you and all allies within its range receive a +2 bonus to AC and advantage on saving throws against being frightened.

Additionally, while this aura is active, if you take the Dodge action on your turn, you gain resistance to bludgeoning, slashing, and piercing damage from nonmagical attacks until the start of your next turn.

The aura persists for 1 minute or until you lose concentration. Once you activate this ability, the boots cannot be used again until after a long rest.
