Staff of Antimagi

Wondrous item, legendary (requires attunement by a cleric or wizard)

An ancient staff, carved with deep-set runes. Revered by many, it's a symbol of resistance for those combating the magi's influence.

The staff has 50 charges for the following properties. It regains 4d6 + 2 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 20, the staff regains 1d12 + 1 charges.

While holding the staff, you can use an action to expend some of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell save DC: dispel magic (3 charges) or antimagic field (10 charges). Additionally, when a spell is cast within 60 feet of you, you can use your reaction to cast counterspell as an 6th level spell (6 charges).

Aura of Silence. When wielded, the staff emits a soft hum that's barely audible. This sound creates a 10-foot radius of quietness around you, making it difficult for spells with verbal components to be cast by others. Any caster within this radius attempting to cast a spell with a verbal component must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 15), or the spell fails and has no effect.
