This legendary canvas, set in an ornate frame, is a tool said to be forged by deities. Not merely an art piece, it shapes destinies, a power not meant for mortals.

When you spend 6 days creating a painting upon this canvas, a cone-shaped area emerges, originating at the canvas and stretching up to 45 miles, and begins to reshape itself to match the painted scene. Both natural terrains and man-made structures transform to reflect the scene you've painted. The reshaping progresses at 10 feet per round, making the transformation complete in a matter of hours.

Any creatures within the affected area intuitively sense the impending transformation. They may attempt a Dexterity saving throw (DC 23) to move to a safer location. Creatures that fail or become trapped by the transformation take 30d10 bludgeoning damage each round until they are either freed or perish.

If you start a new painting on the canvas, the previously painted scene starts to fade. Simultaneously, the real world that was reshaped by the canvas's previous painting undergoes a cataclysmic implosion, erasing any trace of the previous transformation. This cataclysm leaves behind a zone of wild magic where gravity is non-existent, and unpredictable magical storms dominate.

If a new painting you create resembles the landscape from the previous one but with some alterations, the affected area first implodes, then rapidly reconfigures to match the new scene.
