🪓🌊✨ Imagine, if you will, an axe that looks like it took a lovely swim through the most colorful parts of the ocean. The blade, a vibrant turquoise, seems to glow gently, like it soaked up just a bit of sunshine from the surface. The handle, crafted from the wood of the sunken star tree, gives off a soft, warm light, guiding adventurers through dark and tricky spots, under the sea or on land.

Now, onto the most charming part - the coral! Little strands and bits of it curl up and around from the handle to the blade, making it look like a piece of the ocean floor just decided to go for a wander.  Tiny fish, shimmering with all the colors of the coral reef, dart in and out of the coral, while sweet little starfish settle comfortably in nooks and crannies, waving their arms in a gentle dance.

These little sea dwellers aren’t just for show, they’re also secretly tough little buddies who’ve got your back in a scuffle! When things get dicey, they channel the protective energies of their ocean home right through the axe, giving it a bit of extra oomph when you swing.

Now here’s a fun little secret - when you take the Starlight Axe underwater, it somehow seems to know, and the power of the ocean infuses it, making your swings even more powerful and sure, helping you navigate and battle through any underwater adventure that comes your way!🪓🌊✨

Starlight Axe

Weapon (greataxe), rare (requires attunement)

Imbued with the mystic ocean, the Starlight Axe marries a gently luminous turquoise blade and a handle hewn from the ever-glowing sunken star tree. Delicate, living corals, bearing the soft colors of the sea’s depth, meander from wood to metal, symbolizing the unity of the stellar and the aquatic.

The Starlight Axe grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls. When you hit with an attack using this axe, the target takes an extra 1d4 radiant damage plus 1d4 cold damage. The axe has 3 charges and regains all expended charges daily at dusk.

As an action, you can expend 1 charge to cast the light spell, choosing to emanate light from either the turquoise blade or the coral embellishments.

While in an underwater environment, the axe provides a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls instead.
