🌌🔮🌀 Wrought by age-old fae smiths, these wristguards are not a singular relic but are found in scattered corners of the world. Born in forgotten fires deep within the heart of Faerundel's hidden groves, where moonbeams intertwine with ancient magics, they have been molded with unparalleled craftsmanship. It is said that the very heart of the enchanted forests, where time blurs and realms intermingle, played a hand in their making.

The fae smiths who fashioned these bracers weren't just artisans; they were maestros, their anvils resonating with the rhythmic beats of the old world. Using a blend of orichalcum and moon-silver, they poured their very essence and the magic of the forest into every piece. The luminous swirls and intricate patterns tell tales of old — of moonlit dances, timeless romances, and battles that shaped the fate of the mystical realms. 🌌🔮🌀

Bracers of Manaflow

Wondrous Item, uncommon (requires attunement by a spellcaster)

Wrought by age-old fae smiths in forgotten fires, these wristguards shimmer with the gleam of orichalcum and moon-silver. The heart of their mystery lies in a crystalline sphere, poised just above the elbow's curve. Within, a maelstrom of arcane essence stirs, its dance beguiling and entrancing. With every swirl and flutter, it seems almost sentient, a testament to the enchanted prowess of the craftsmen who birthed them.

Mana Reservoir. Encased within the crystalline section of the bracers is a pool of arcane energy. The capacity of this pool is equal to your proficiency bonus, granting a number of Mana Points. Instead of expending a spell slot when casting a spell, you have the option to draw from these Mana Points. The consumption of Mana Points for various spell levels is as follows: 1st Level: 2

Mana Points

  • 2nd Level: 3 Mana Points
  • 3rd Level: 4 Mana Points
  • 4th Level: 5 Mana Points
  • 5th Level: 6 Mana Points

Once all the Mana Points are expended from the bracers, the swirling arcane essence within the crystalline section dims and becomes dormant. The bracers lose their magical properties for the original user, and they cannot be reinvigorated or reused by that same creature, even if they attempt to re-attune to them.

Attunement. To attune to these bracers, one must meditate with them for an hour, merging a fragment of their soul with the arcane reservoir contained within. This bond is what allows the user to draw upon the Mana Points, but it also means that once depleted, the reservoir is intrinsically tied to that fragment and can't be replenished for that creature.
