As mentioned in my other post, I was limited to 30 images for some reason, so I've posted the full size vertical test strips here. One thing I forgot to mention is that these are incomplete, as in they aren't yet fully colored or shaded, and the converted older strips need some touch ups.

The vertical format looks really good tbh

Could you repost (or link) to them when they are finished?

Fiona is by far my favorite of your current comics. Besides its content (pictures and scenario), I'm particularly fond of its strip format. I chiefly read comics on a computer screen, which works very well for such a format. I understand the majority of web users are now using smartphones to consume content, most likely in portrait mode by default. This is particularly unsuited to a comic strip, though Fiona reads just fine rotated in landscape mode. I have tested the vertical format, unfortunately it does not work for me. On a 25" computer screen, I get a very small, very thin vertical band, and need to zoom and pan to read it. On a smartphone, I find the strip is still too tall for its width, also giving a small vertical band, and requiring zoom and scroll. I don't know how popular the vertical format has become and how much success it can bring compared to a horizontal format. I will definitely mourn the latter should it become extinct.

(Edit: Whenever I press enter, it posts, how did you get the spacing? Ctrl-enter didn't work for me either) So when I posted these vertical format strips, I really liked how the first strip just fills the Patreon page screen at full size, but then when I clicked on the following strips to expand them, all of them were tiny like you described. Which was disappointing. But then I remembered that each strip will be posted individually, so it hopefully will only be a problem for this post.

The plan is to post a vertical strip here, followed by individual panels behind it, and then I'm going to try using something like In Design to create a few templates where it can automatically make both a horizontal and vertical version of the strip. The trick is trying how to figure out how to automate it.

One of my favorite webcomics right now is "The Weekly Roll" and they post their strip in multiple formats, and that's what I'm hoping to be able to do here as well.

Shift-Enter does the spacing. I also posted accidentally by pressing Enter... If you manage to automate the creation of both formats, that would be awesome.
