The second winner from the December poll is Kate Bishope/Hawkeye. I decided to go with the suggestion of Second of Many, to make it a parody of old Nancy Drew "damsel in distress" covers and art.

You have to do a variant where she's trying to open that doorknob with her bare feet and tied toes!

Lmao this is cute. I really like how you managed to keep it pretty close to the level of bondage you would see on those covers while still being kinky.

Love the "Tapping Heels" reference in the setup, and Kate herself looks awesome. Another timely bit of fun here, she's turned out fantastically!

Kate is knocking but can Hawkeye hear her?

Second of Many

Glad you liked my idea. You've really done a great job. I've always found the pulp inspired covers of the Kate Bishop Hawkeye comics some of the most iconic in recent memory (especially impressive, given how iconic the previous Hawkeye run's covers were), and you really captured the vibe of those covers so well. You even got the title treatment just perfect It really helps bring all the elements together. You've done an amazing job with the actual image itself. There is a real physicality to Kate, between the action lines as she bangs her feet on the door and the way her hands are firmly rooted on the ground to help her keep balance. And her expression gives her a wonderful determination to really sell the story. Combined with the fake cover, it really all comes together. The fake cover helps raise the stakes, but giving the events a sense of importance. Even without the tagline, by virtue of this being a cover, there is a wonderful added intensity that really sells the damsel in distress idea. I also like how you've added some sexiness without hurting the overall feel. Things like the ball gag, or the elbow bondage being a little harsher than your traditional Nancy Drew scene, are wonderfully sexy little touches, without compromising the stakes. Kate Bishop doing the girl detective thing was one of my favourite eras for a character in comics, and I'm so glad that you managed to do such a fun take on her detective hijinks. If she's going to be a detective, she has to get into one or two Nancy Drew style damsel in distress situations, doesn't she? Really glad you were willing to do another cover this month, as you do a great job with covers. You really know how do a cover so that the picture itself combines with the trade dress to heighten the entire image. Would love to see you do more cover/poster inspired stuff

Very good work! Kate is looking very cute, and while I probably would have preferred her classic Jim Cheung design, you made her MCU appearance work here, so well done. Great job with her bondage too, especially that ball gag. As with your recent Kra/Steph pic, I also quite like how you drew this as a comic cover; the layout is effective without detracting from Kate's damsel in distress situation, and the modified CCA logo is a nice touch. Overall, well done, as ever!
