(I've never seen this one before) I wasn't quite feeling it for a bit at the beginning, but after the first reset, I was hooked, and really enjoyed the movie!

Love this movie but no way he didnt die in the end. That was just a Hollywood happy ending, but I believe the real one is they both died saving the world

Good call noticing the guy from Game of Thrones, but there was another. Kimmel, the guy who was screaming "We made it!" then got crushed early on, he was the fool in GoT, also.

This is one of the few that does groundhog day the right way. No sequel sadly. There was talk about it in 2021 but that didn't happen. Budget was too high or something.

A mix between Aliens, A War of the Worlds, and Groundhog Day. LOL! Great movie. I don't know why, I never expect to go in watching a Tom Cruise movie liking it, but then I always leave it loving it. Crazy, but true.

This was actually my first Tom Cruise movie believe it or not, and im probably going to get chased out of hear by a mob with pitchforks but im pretty sure this is the ONLY Tom Cruise film ive seen 😅 But i loved it so much, and im glad R&T did too :)

Glad you enjoyed this. Palm Springs is another film similar to this id recommend but it’s more of a comedy

I love this movie to no end. I feel like it's often an overlooked gem... mostly because of the title. Honestly, Tom Cruise movies usually exceed expectations every time.

Personally, give me happy endings. I'll never understand how everyone dying makes a better movie. But, in my view, the ending reboot makes perfect sense. We saw Cage absorbing the Omega's essence when he was dying... so he inherited its ability to automatically go back 24 hours. And since the raid at the Louvre was before the invasion... he went to an earlier reset point. (With the alpha blood, he went back 24 hours from his original death on the beach. Going back from his second real death at the Louvre, puts him much earlier. The omega stays dead regardless... just as the alpha stayed dead, never reappearing in any subsequent returns to that same beach day. Same applies to the Omega... going back, it's still dead.)
