Piper I agree 1000%!!! I understand the feelings for Shasha, but Rosita deserved better!! All I could POSSIBLY think was "maybe he thinks if he makes Rosita hate him it will be easier for her." I honestly don't know because he pissed me off!

Love this episode. I think the show has desensitized us to violence so much that it’s easy to side with Rick on this one, but it really is kind of messed up that they killed all of those people in their sleep without even knowing who they are. Can’t wait for the next one!

While Rick basically said the same thing the governor did I do see a difference in it. They do know the Saviors are killers because they killed someone just for Hilltop not sending enough supplies & wanted them to kill another for it. They know the Saviors attacked Darryll, Sasha & Abraham, they could have been killed. They are right to assume the Saviors will come for them. They are not just going on Hill Tops Word they witnessed it. The Governor totally lied to the people about Rick's group & they believed him. He was doing it all for himself. I will never think Rick was like the governor. I do get the morality problem. It's a tough call to just go in and kill sleeping people. But I still felt a little better after seeing all the dead body pictures on the wall like trophies. It was a good episode.

Interesting tidbit about the scene where they choose which walker head to use. One of the heads Greg Nicotero used was a head molded from Johhny Depp for another movie he made.

Abe does seem like a guy who would have no clue how to gently break up with a girl. I was pissed at the way he did it, but it happens, unfortunately. I've been going over the debate about whether Rick was right or wrong to do what he did, for years now. All I'll say is that hearing that a group of them was close to killing 3 of his people, and then finding out that a 16-year-old was killed by Negan himself (do you remember how it was done?), and thinking of Carl, it probably made Rick a little out-of-his-mind with blood lust. I approve whole-heartedly. But, the debate goes on...and on...and on. lol

The debate will always go on, and on, because Rick didn't know the people he was murdering, none of them did. It's highly unlikely that every ''saviour'' was a relentless murderer. But at the same time, eliminating the threat has always been an option for the survivors. Time and time again, they've debated it. It can even go back to the Karen and David argument. Killing them for the safety of the group, but there's no guarantee that they were actually ever a direct threat. 🤷🏽‍♂️

The unadulterated love for one character makes this debate go on & on. Nothing more; nothing less. The same argument can be said about Rick's group, and what the Saviors did/are doing to the other communities. Children are dead because of them (him), too. Innocents are dying, that's a fact. But it goes both ways.

People always say this but it’s different when your actions lead to someone getting killed vs actually just killing a teenager to assert dominance it’s never the same with our group

When Shane kills 1 person to make sure he gets meds back to a dying child he's the worst person ever but when Rick sneaks up on a whole building full of people and kill them in their sleep in order to keep some grub everyone's fine with it

Glenn can absolutely kill someone in self defense, but murder is another story. Whether we agree with it or not, they did murder those people. That's what was so hard for Glenn and why he spared Heath the pain. Abe pissed me off when this aired. He has every right to be with whoever he wants but he was an ass to Rosita.
