RIP Daiya (Black Dog) and Lecca (Burnt Tail). Of course, we had to get that wholesome cherry blossom viewing scene before the tragedy. Especially in the case of Daiya, who wore his heart for Anju on his sleeve and from what we saw, Anju also cared deeply for Daiya. And Daiya is the first loss we've witnessed who had an emotional bond with someone on Spearhead beyond that of comradery and friendship (in Anju)...which really hurts. And now a little venting on my part...when I was first introduced to the girls of Spearhead, two members caught my eye: Kaie and Lecca. There was something about their character designs I liked and I was really looking forward to getting to know them better. This was of course, at the very beginning when I was ignorant to what was to come. We now know their fates and well...it's always a bitter pill for me when I re-watch this series :( You may have already come to the answer to the question you posed at 2:46. But if it's still not immediately clear to you, then try re-watching that beginning scene of young Shin looking upon the remains of his brother. Given the context of what we know about the Legion, something should jump out at you in that scene XD Something interesting that I actually just picked up on during this re-watch with you: In the last episode, Lena and Annette were having cake and chatting. When Lena questioned Annette about the pictures of her past suitors up on the wall, Annette responded with: "My team did it as a joke. So I won't forget, they said" Lena seemed to have some sort of realization (EP 5 17:31) when she heard that last part. Jump to this episode and all of a sudden, Lena has hand drawings representing her Spearhead team posted up on a board in her room. This was not there last episode. Of course, they are just approximations of how Lena pictures them based on their voices and personalities. But we can see Lena took that sentiment of "won't forget" to heart by drawing those pictures. After the battle with Daiya's and Lecca's loss, she takes down two of the pictures representing them...and are later placed inside a glass box. A memorial if you will....so she doesn't forget. I just never caught on to the episode 5 tie in to Lena's actions in this episode, until now.
