This episode was, by far, the most disturbing display of violence & cruelty I’ve ever witnessed in an anime. It was extremely difficult to watch. ketil seemed like a compassionate person. But, in the end he was a slave master. That dubious title speaks for itself. One could argue that he’s a product of the time. But, what he did to Arnheid was unspeakably evil.
