Aaaahhhh these episodes!!! They still make my heart pound even after seeing them like 5 times!! This episode hurts my soul. It might be easy to say, go and transform Eren, beat the Female Titan. But in real situations like this, it's not about fighting alone, it's about trusting the comrades around you because they do the same for you. And again, it's easy to say "hey, trust in Eren immediately, he's got this, he's our main guy". But you have to remember that the Survey Corps haven't seen Eren in action in his Titan form. Plus the fact that he's changed into what humanity hates and fears the most. (And that is something very interesting if you look at it from a psychological aspect) It affects people in many different ways. They fear what they can't control. Because fear is something that people don't really know how to deal with. And when there's no time to deal with that, it leads impulsive decisions. And yes, following your intuition is very important, but intuition leads you into good places only from peaceful emotions. I love the moment where they bite their hands as a form of apology, I think it means a whole lot more to Eren than a verbal apology, because actions speak louder than words~
