CRANE: ENTRY 012

CRANE: I found another recording behind Draper’s ‘The Lament for Icarus’.

???: Do you think yourself a god, Dr. Crane? Do you not bleed? Edward does. Verbal scars can pierce the flesh, and then the salt will burn. Choose your words wisely, Crow. The next riddle will be yours at 12:01AM, on October 23rd.

CRANE: Were I not absolutely sure of it, I would assume we’re being warned about getting too big for our britches. I suggest a modicum of humility as we proceed. I will alert you as soon as the riddle becomes available to me.

The fifth riddle:

"French for the father,

a smirk or a smile,

go to his front,

it will be worth your while."
