You guys are killing me! (but in a good way 🤣) I pushed through and watched both FT episode uploads but now it's 3am here! Alex, you're keeping me up at night!!! 🤪 all these uploads are sending me loopy! I love it....😘😘

You be spoiling us today!!! 😍

Olivia

omg love love love this - mentioned this already but if you are wanting films to add to your reactions watchlist i highly recommend the normal heart and the boys in the band!! ❤️❤️

You Guys are on fire today! Pre-Holiday rush so hopefully you can Enjoy Festivities with Family and Friends over the Holidays. Another goodie to watch when I’m home this evening.

I watched the Normal Heart a couple of weeks right after an episode of Fellow Travellers. It was a double hit of trauma. It’s a great but heartbreaking film and it is a story, just like Fellow Travellers, that needs to be told. Also the boys in the band; great film and with a great cast.

Overload!! Santa's come early this year. Josh and Alex, you are really spoiling us today. ❤️ "Lucky" me have to shovel a foot of snow from our driveway before I can pass out in front of the TV. At least I have a ton of ASTW to look forward to 🥳

Short but sweet, they had that connection which reunited their lives 25 years later, ye har, I would greatly love you to review Desert Hearts, it's from a book, I find good books usually lead to good films, hope you find it, thank you (also set in the deserts, but Las Vegas is there built in the middle of the desert), love the content, keep on going

Nice one. Ethan Hawke is great(only actor in this I seem to know beforhand. Love him in Dead Poet Society and the Before Sunrise Trilogy among others.) Fun watching a western with you, and Josh is cute in his little Woody hat..😄(Woodys Roundup....😆😉🎵🎶)

Rowan Cannell

Well, this reminded me that I should appreciate good writing a bit more.

Chris Metzger

This had a lot of potential. They crammed as much in (no pun intended) as they could in 1/2 hour. However, I wish it had been a full-length film. Silva shooting Jake reminded me a lot of when Blackbeard taught Stede how to take a sword without doing any real damage. Was it good? Sure, why not! I do want sequels and prequels, and maybe not fade to black with the sex scenes for those!

LB

Just a note about the golden horse. It's a Palomino.

Hey guys! Congrats on another great video! I love that short film and I am fond of Almodovar cinema so I was so excited to watch you review that one! 😍You guys need to check more of Almodovar’s movies if you liked this one. He is a gay director from Spain and his cinema is niche, but very queer, with incredible female leads most of the time, and it’s always visually stunning and colorful! The odd pace you felt is because he does melodrama so the acting is always a bit over the top. And his cinema is very inspired by his life growing up during « la Movida » which was a period full of heavy partying, celebrating openmindness, art and sex in Spain. And you can feel it in all of his movies, even when he does a western 🤣 Anyway, you guys are so fun and it’s so nice to watch your reviews! (Apologies if my English isn’t great, I’m from France 😬)

Sara Nissen

Yes!!! My favorite of his is Todo Sobre Mi Madre/All about my mother from 1999, that was the first of his movies I watched, it's SO good, I'd love if they would do a watch/review of that one or other of his movies as you sugested, or in general older LGBT+ movies from ex 80s, 90s like Priscilla Queen of the dessert, My beautiful Laundrette, To Wong Foo, Maurice, My Own Private Idaho, Kiss of the Spider Woman etc, that would be so nice.

EmaLarrain

Oh yes, I love these movies! And that would be super interesting conversations as well!

Jamie

I wish this movie was longer, I didn't want it to end there.

Dan Tackett

Well that was a new genre for a queer story, so thank you for entertaining us with a classic ASWT reaction. Josh, I love that you’re also a Formula 1 fan, noting the similar looks of a character to Carlos Sainz. I’ve heard you mention Charles LeClerc in another video. My F1 friends may not realize that I’m not just watching the cars…

Just a note: The cowboy hat looks like Woody's from Toy Story (sorry). The bow tie is called a Western Bow Tie, and the tie made with what looks like strings is called a Bolo. I am from the desert southwest of the US and grew up with real cowboys and Native Americans. I am from a very diverse community, a lot of Spanish, Mexican, and Native influence. I am very thankful for this. Also, is it just me or was the writing of this movie not very good. Sorry, but this movie was not very good and I was hoping to see Manu Rios from Elite (the singer at the beginning) more. Oh and his name is pronounced Pay-dro not Ped-ro....lol.

Thanks for this. A recommendation not for a reaction but for a different take on representation set in the “old u.s. west,” consider watching the power of the dog. Benedict cumberbatch and kodi smit-McPhee are outstanding. All of the actors are outstanding. It touches on some of what you mentioned here— cowboy archetypes and demonstrations of masculinity.

GUYS I drive my horse she pulls a cart 🤣
