READ A BOOK?

WATCH A MOVIE? 

MY ANSWER:

No brainer....read a book! Even though I LOVE watching movies, there is something about reading books that is integral to the very person that I am. Books have always been a part of my life since I can remember; they were my only friend some days. Plus, if the apocalypse were to happen and there was an abundant lack of electricity, then you would never be able to watch a movie...whereas a book...well...they are impervious to the trappings of technology!

Movies. But it really depends on the book to get me not to watch a movie.

I love reading books, but a book is a much bigger time commitment. I don't read quickly (I'm apparently very dyslexic), and books are longer than movies, so it is a bigger commitment to a single piece of art. I definitely read less of them as a result. It is hard to find the time when I'm not too tired too. I definitely get a lot more enjoyment per book I read than per film, but a film is just easier to watch than a book is to read, and I don't have a lot of time most of the time, so it'd be film most times.
