Hosting Issues (Patreon)

I have an unfortunate announcement to make: the podcast may be briefly unavailable at some point in the next day or two. As you might be aware, the show is hosted on Soundcloud, whose future as a company is now uncertain. There is a chance Soundcloud will survive, but if it doesn't, I will have to find a new hosting service. 

The upshot for you guys is: we may be offline during the transition (if it happens). If there's an episode you were planning on listening to in the next few days, I would recommend downloading it onto a device now, because it may not be available to stream when you want it. This is only going to be temporary: all the old episodes will be re-posted, and there won't be any interruption in the release of new episodes. I'll upload the next installment to Youtube or something if I have to.

Please don't worry about the future of the show. Sure, I reeeeally wish I hadn't paid up-front for 1 year of Soundcloud service, but Bonaparte reeeeally wished he hadn't split up his army before Marengo, and he came out of it okay.
