Marie felt like a secret agent! She had fobbed clueless Lisa off with excuses after Jackie and Kevin found an excuse to leave, and then she tailed them in her car! Her friend and date didn’t have a clue!

But… where were they going? It was getting dark. And they were driving up some windy mountain trails. Were they heading to the makeout spot?! She never realized Jackie could be so adventurous, and certainly not with someone she had just met!

God, Kevin was driving so fast in the dark! Marie couldn’t keep up! Her heart pounded as she desperately tried to keep them within sight. Why was she so insistent on spying on them? She could just ask Jackie about it later… alone… in her bedroom maybe. Maybe she could place her hand on Jackie’s, and Jackie could give her a little kiss and completely shatter her soul and overwhelm her with ecstasy…

But everything went fine. She got back to the gated entrance at the park, but Kevin was nowhere to be seen. Just what on earth were they up to?

Shivering with cold, Marie grabbed her jacket, stepped out of the car, and slid under the toll entrance.

There they were! Up ahead! And… there was a feminine silhouette bouncing high into the air!? The glow of the moonlight allowed her to see clearly even in the relative dark. It was definitely a woman! With a car above her!?

What the fuck! Marie’s heart was pounding her chest as she watched the impossible scene repeat itself many times over.

Finally, the mystery… ghost, or whatever, stopped appearing in the sky. Marie saw Kevin’s outline, standing by itself in the distance.

And then he wasn’t alone. Another body appeared. Just what the hell was going on?

And then they flew into the air!?!?

Marie simply stood there, stunned. Was this some insane, lucid dream? She pinched herself. It didn’t end. Or maybe it was a nightmare. Maybe she should just turn back. This was insane. Absolutely bonkers.

And then, deep in the forest, she saw a bright, red beam of light. The thundering sound of trees being felled. Hell, she could even see the orange glow of fire that had somehow materialized out of nowhere!

Marie started to run toward the impossible, dream-like events unfolding before her eyes. She moved as quickly as her short legs could carry her. What she wouldn’t give to have athleticism like Lisa’s right now.

She got as far as spotting Kevin’s car, somehow parked deep in the preservation area. Just how the fuck how they gotten in here!? It was no ghost after all! Someone seriously “leaped” over and over, car in hands, and placed it down here?!

Suddenly, the burning forest winked away. It sounded like a cyclonic rush of wind! And then, total darkness at ground level.

The only thing visible were two bodies, rising high into the air, ignoring the force of gravity.
