Town of Gardia - Accommodations

The use of the magic stone to adjust water volume and temperature was the same as the previous inn.

I think the shower was fixed, maybe they don't have the technology to make the hose part.

"Let me wash your back, Claire-sama."

"Thank you!"

First Claire and Rilfana washed me, and then I watched from the tub as Rilfana washed Claire's back.

There was also soap with a nice floral fragrance.

There was also a soap for hair. It was solid, but lathering and could be used like shampoo.

"Next time, Rilfana-chan!"

"Thank you very much."

Claire had grown quite fond of Rilfana.

After we finished washing each other's backs, they joined me on either side so that I was in the middle.

It was fine if Big Sister was on the end. I was in the middle of the bathtub with Big Sister, and she was in the middle of the bathtub with me.

"Taking a bath with Big Sister reminds me of the day we explored the ruins."

"Ah, that was about three months ago."

"You were complaining that the blood wouldn't come off."

"Oh, is that some kind of horror story?"

Rilfana is trying to cover her ears, as if she is not good at this.

I think there was some game where they were washing weapons all the time in the river, saying the blood wouldn't fall off, but it wasn't like that.

"No, the hardened blood didn't fall out after healing a normal injury. So my dad got me some water from the river even though it was night."

"...And it was okay?"

"Claire fixed it for me."

"It was pretty deep, but it didn't even leave a mark."

Technically, it wasn't exactly healed slightly, and the sisters healed it completely, but if it weren't for Claire, I doubt I would have made it home safely.

Claire touched my side as if to check, and it tickled in a subtle way.

It seems that if it becomes a scar, it can't be healed, but if I apply the healing magic right away, it seems to leave almost no scars. Thank goodness for women, but I can't be like a bunch of hot guys bragging about their scars to each other.

"Claire, that tickles."

"Hmmm."

Claire ruffles her hands. This is a perfect tickle position.

"Oh, help me, Rilfana."

"You two are so close, aren't you?"

Claire was so insistent that I asked Rilfana for help, but she just laughed and didn't help me. Grrrrr.

After getting out of the bath, I played a board game that was on the table. It comes with an instruction manual.

The game can be played by up to four players, and each game takes about 15 minutes. The game was similar to a game called "Halma", which is more famous for its 3-player version called "Diamond Game".

I played a few times, and Claire almost always won first place, and the battle for second place with Rilfana must have been a fairly good one. I'm sure.

...I enjoy playing these logic games, but I'm not good at them.

In this world Virtuari, there were no such entertainment items at all, and I played like crazy. I didn't see any in the stores in town, but I wonder if they sell them somewhere?

Board games are fun to play, and with Claire and Rilfana, I don't have to worry about whom to play with. I would like to buy some if they sell them somewhere.

In Japan, I used to play games with my brothers who took hours to play.

I might be able to make my own Othello or Shogi.

It was getting late at night when I decided to have a cup of tea and go to bed.

Looking out of the window, I saw that unlike West Street where there were a few people even after dark, East Street was empty of people. This may be because there are many upscale stores and antenna stores, and few bars are open until late at night.

The bed was like a bed with springs, and when I got on it, it bounced.

It had been a long time since I had felt this way.

"It's kind of fluffy."

Claire said.

When she covered herself with the bedding, the scent of soapy flowers fluttered in the air.

--The next day.

"Big Sister, it's morning."

"..."

"Mina-sama, please wake up."

A comfortable bed and a late night made it difficult to get up today.

For the first time in a long time, I got a whoop in Rilfana's ear.... I feel like I get that a lot at home.

Before the bell rings at 3 a.m., I'd like to buy a lunch for the return trip. I head to breakfast so that I can leave the inn as it is.

The breakfast menu consisted of all-you-can-eat scrambled eggs, bacon, bread, and boiled eggs with a drink.

This area may be similar to other inns. Of course, the ingredients seemed to be good ones.

When I left the restaurant to return the key to the front desk, I found Alphos-san sitting in a chair in the lobby.

"Good morning. Are you leaving already?"

Yes, I've already done my shopping, and I'm going to buy my lunch at the central square.

I'm looking forward to seeing you and Mina-chan when you start your adventuring career. I'll be waiting for you and your friends to start working as adventurers, and if you visit the Adventurers' Guild in the royal capital, I'll try to get in touch with you.

"Understood. I'll ask them when I get to the royal capital."

"Ah, here I am at last."

Mirell-san came down the stairs, rubbing his eyes sleepily. Gina-san was following behind.

It seems they were waiting for each other.

"Good morning...sleepy."

"Good morning, Claire-chan and the others are early."

"We have to go home early, it's going to be a night."

"I see, you haven't camped yet. You should practice in the village."

"Well, it was difficult to pitch a tent at first."

"Tents are often not used after there are three of us, though, because you can't see out of them and the guards seem to be outside."

"If you have a magic bag, I think it's a good idea to have it ready."

I haven't bought a tent yet, come to think of it. I haven't bought a tent yet. I'll check with the guild after I buy my lunch.

"Well, we'll have breakfast and then head back to the royal capital."

Alphos-san and the others went into the restaurant where they ate.

"Shall we go to the guild to see the tents and then go home?"

"Yes."

"Okay."

As before, we each bought a bento of our choice. We found one that resembled a nori bento, so we decided on that.

We met up in front of the Adventurers' Guild and went to check out the general store on the second floor.

The guild store is basically open all the time except on holidays and late at night.

"With all the guards there, I'm guessing it's only good for about two people?"

"It's small, but I think it should be big enough for three people to lay down. We may have to take requests jointly with other parties."

The clerk told me that the two-person tent is small for three people. I took his honest opinion and bought a three-person tent.

"We can still stop by if you want to buy something, anything?"

"No, I'm good."

"Not really."

I could make the round trip in two days, and I had a lot of money in my pocket, so I could come back if I needed anything else.

I feel like I'm becoming more and more familiar with this world of Virtuari, where if I wanted something, it would be delivered the next day.

The return trip will be slow because there is no Reda-san's spell song. The scenery was familiar: meadows, faults, and forests.

There was no need to hurry, so we took it easy as we rested.

Underneath the seaweed of the nori bento was dried bonito flakes with a light dash of soy sauce. I would have liked it if they had dried bonito flakes because it would have made a good soup stock...

I'll see you next time. I don't know if I'll remember.

Rilfana also had a vegetable bread, which was unusual for her.

As before, we arrived in the village before evening.

The vigilante patrol was still on the lookout, perhaps as a precaution.

""We're home!""

"I'm home."

...I'm already becoming more and more aware that this is my home.
