Main Street Enhancements

Camsin and his team have been selecting people who could manage the new store in the adventurer's town, but it will probably take some time. They had not returned yet.

We asked the Bellrango Chamber of Commerce to open a new store, and soon Rango was walking around with a group of people who looked like apprentice merchants.

"I want a food and commodities store over here. The head office and the branch offices will get together to negotiate with the Mary Chamber of Commerce. On the other side, a store for purchasing and selling materials is planned. This side will always be overflowing with people, but rest assured that we will send out support from the head office to deal with the situation. We are also preparing a store to sell cheap weapons and armor, as orders for these items have been increasing. We will also be coordinating with the head office, so half of the staff there will be from the head office. Are there any questions about what we've done so far?"

Rango explains briefly and looks around at the apprentices. They vary in age and gender, but all quickly raise their hands and open their mouths.

"About the material purchases, how many employees do you have?"

"We are thinking five buyers, three sellers, one manager and one assistant manager."

"I think most of the adventurers are here in town. I think it would be better to reduce the number of people at the head office and concentrate them here."

"If we can't get there in time, we will send out support, but basically, we are not thinking of changing the number of people. Those who are in a hurry and don't have time should be sent to the head office, and precious materials such as dragons should be sent only to the head office. Also, as for dismantling, the Adventurers' Guild said they are going to increase the number of staff, so the number of people taken there should be reduced soon."

Rango answered everyone's questions precisely. Something about him gives the impression of a man who can get the job done.

"Yes."

I raised my hand as a test, and Rango turned around and looked me in the eye. The apprentice merchants standing around us also rolled their eyes.

"If I am forced to participate in a war, the supply of the weapons and other items I have been making will stop for the duration of the war.

When I asked this question, Rango's face scrunched up.

"...We will carry supplies and food for the war and sell them here, so we can have the armors you made for us put them on the wagons on the way back..."

"Not an ogre? You're going to make weapons on a business trip? You'll die!

"Yes, that's right... so we'll have to ask you to replenish our inventory while you're back in Seat Village..."

Rango's answer made my shoulders slump, and I let out a sigh.

"I guess we'll have to work after all...weren't any of the new arrivals able to use production magic?"

"Yes, no. And I showed it to the one who used to do blacksmithing, but he said it was impossible to duplicate."

"Ah, as I have expected."

Rango's words made me sigh in disappointment. It is inevitable, but the lord's job is also carpentry and flood control work, and weapon making is quite difficult.

In the midst of such an overcrowded schedule, demons and devils would come to study and practice swordsmanship.

Somehow, I had to break this negative cycle.

"All right. Let's get a carpenter, a blacksmith, and a furniture maker ready ASAP! Especially the blacksmith, he needs to be the best. I believe we had a few experienced ones, what happened to them?"

"Well, we haven't been able to get the blacksmith shop up and running, and even though we have some experienced carpenters here, none of them have ever built a furnace before..."

Rango says, annoyed. For now, we are asking the Mary Chamber of Commerce to purchase top-quality weapons and other items for our inventory, but in the future, if we can, we would like to create a centerpiece in our own territory.

"However, making a furnace is difficult, isn't it?"

I mutter to myself and groan. I've seen it on TV, but I don't know exactly how to make one. Perhaps if I had a blueprint, I would be able to make it into a shape.

As I was thinking this, one of the adventurers watching from a distance raised one hand.

"Well, there's a famous Dwarf-only adventuring party, Bacchus, the god of wine, here right now. As I recall, they're attacking a dungeon or something..."

Rango reacted to this information before I did.

"What! That party is still in the dungeon?"

"Eh? No, I think I saw them this morning at the guild."

"Seriously...!"

Rango turned to me, his eyes bloodshot at the adventurer's information.

"Van-sama! Do you have some time right now!?"

I wonder if I have ever had such a passionate invitation before. Even Van couldn't help but nod his head.

"Yes, I'm fine.

"Yes! Let's go right away!"

Momentum was important. In the blink of an eye, I had no time to build the store.

Rango rushes into the new branch of the Adventurers' Guild, and if I'm not careful, they might think I'm knocking on their door.

As I entered the building with the loud sound of the door opening and closing, all the adventurers in the spacious Adventurers' Guild reception and bar area turned to look at me at once.

And among them was a group of obviously short people.

"There they are...!"

Rango exclaimed, pointing at the dwarves, and the dour-looking dwarves turned around with furrowed brows.
