Xsara Inn

The double doors, which were a little too large, were opened, and we entered the inn. There was no lighting, but the windows had not yet been installed, so there was plenty of light from the outside. The large windows, made wide for the dining room, brightly illuminate the interior.

"It's very spacious, isn't it?"

Flamilia mutters with surprise. Looking at the walls and high ceilings, Xsara also exclaimed in admiration.

"It's so big! It's this big?"

Xsara's voice echoed. Laughing at that, he looked around the room lightly. Doors were leading to the stairs and restrooms, and a counter was set up so that a bar could be opened as well.

After taking a closer look at the dining room, he pointed to the back of the room.

"I'll make the tables and chairs later. I'll get the lights ready as soon as possible. I guess the other thing is the kitchen. Let's go take a look."

With that, he opened the door at the back of the room. Behind the door was a hallway, with the kitchen on the right and the stairs to the basement on the left. Since the basement was still an empty storage area, we now head to the right.

Entering the kitchen, we found a commercial kitchen like the one I saw on TV. It was a kitchen that could accommodate up to ten people working at the same time.

"I'll get you some cooking supplies later. And finally, the guest rooms."

Leading the way, I returned to the dining room this time and went up to the second floor. I made the stairs and hallways wider, and made two types of rooms: one room for one person on the second floor, and a room large enough for three people on the third floor.

The rooms were all floored, and a toilet was installed in each room. Incidentally, most inns in this world did not have baths. They usually lack large public baths.

However, this inn was equipped with showers.

"You can't run water or hot water yet, but you'll be able to run enough to wash properly."

Pluriel's eyes light up and her mouth gasped as I showed her how to use the shower.

"Depending on the price, this inn will always be fully booked!"

"No doubt. Adventurers living in this town, but those visiting the dungeon or Seat Village, need a place to stay. Besides, if they are returning from a dungeon, they may have more money to spare."

Ortho agreed with Pluriel's words. Nodding lightly, I told them my next plan.

"I'm thinking of building a public bathhouse next door after this. Then people staying at the inn might use it."

"A public bathhouse, you mean? You mean the same bathhouse next to the lord's mansion in Seat Village?"

"Yes, yes. Although it will be a little smaller than that one."

The bathhouse in Seat Village had been enlarged to accommodate the increased number of residents. The bathing fees were also inexpensive.

But I doubt that an adventurer's town would need that many things. If they went to the dungeon, they would not return for several days, and they would be away from the town for a long period of time when escorting others or taking down bandits.

Therefore, the number of adventurers in town at any given time would probably range from 300 to 500. Potentially, a thousand adventurers were also working around of Seat Village, but it was unlikely that all of them would be using it at the same time.

Therefore, I would like to create a cozy public bathhouse that would be like a super public bathhouse. I should expect about fifty people each for men and women.

"After that, there's the Bellrango Chamber of Commerce store, but there are also blacksmiths, carpenters, clothing stores, and so on. Personally, I would like to have a bakery and a cake shop, but only if there is someone who can manage them."

"I see."

When I told them about the adventurers' town, Ortho and the others nodded. Maybe they don't have a clear idea of what I'm talking about.

Well, I already have an idea in my head of a main street lined with stores, much like a shopping district.

"Well, we're busy. Let's finish the inn first."

After saying this, I quickly made and installed the windows.

The interior and even the exterior were completed, and finally, the water supply and drainage were opened and good.

"Now, all that's left is the furniture, lighting, and employees."

I said as we returned to the spacious dining room and looked back at everyone.

Then I saw Flamilia's face and remembered the price negotiation.

"Oh, Flamilia mentioned that fifty gold coins was a tough loan. Now that you have taken a look inside, how much would you be willing to pay?"

When I asked this, everyone's eyes focused on Flamilia. For a moment, she looks surprised, but then she smiled back quickly and Flamilia answered.

"Well, Van-sama, actually, I wasn't serious about asking for a price reduction from the beginning. It may take some time, but I will definitely pay you, whether it is fifty gold coins or a hundred."

Flamilia bowed deeply as she said this, and several people tilted their heads.

"I knew it? Considering how much Xsara-san earned, I didn't think fifty gold coins would really be too much to ask, as well."

Till raised a question mark at me as I answered with a wry smile.

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"Because of the situation at that place, did you dare to negotiate, right? I thought I had no choice but to accept a lower price."

Flamilia raised her eyebrows and laughed in amazement.

"...I, for one, have been devious. I thought that you had a goal to develop the town's commerce in the future, so I took the liberty of creating an environment that would make it easier for newcomers to start their businesses...in retrospect, I think that was shallow. My deepest apologies..."

Flamilia says this, and I hurriedly wave my hand from side to side.

"No, no, I don't mind. It's just that I'm worried that my reputation aside, I'm worried that some people will see you in a bad light, Flamilia."

When I told her this, Flamilia put her hand on her chest and narrowed her eyes.

"...Thank you. Truly, when I speak with Van-sama, I almost doubt your age. But don't worry. I have my husband with me, and I will dispel any bad reputation as soon as I am allowed to actually do business."

Flamilia assures them with a strength that belies her appearance, and Ortho and the others are surprised.

And Xsara nodded repeatedly with teary eyes. It looks like he's on her ass.

"Okay. Well then, you'll have to pay me eventually, so just make sure you have all the various things you'll need. When you have some room, I'll have the Bellrango Chamber of Commerce open a new branch."

"Yes, I understand."

"Yes!"

Flamilia and Xsara bowed to my words.

Thus, Xsara, the adventurer, changed his job to owner and general manager of Xsara Hotel.

However, he was called upon by Ortho and his friends to work as an adventurer on his days off as a side job.
