Secret Chamber

Looking at the map, we moved on to the place we were interested in. A little further back from where we had just mined.

I remembered what it was, a hidden room I found when I was playing SeveChro. The shape of the map is very similar.

There is nothing in common except that it is a cave, and I think it is simply a coincidence, but I would like to go there if I am close to it.

The paths are intersected like a grid, but there is only one off-center spot.

From there, move east three streets, turn left at the next passage, and the hidden room should be in the wall on the right.

In SeveChro, there were puzzle-solving elements throughout the continent, and finding the hidden room was one of them.

Players who were mainly engaged in these explorations were called archaeologists, and some of them discovered new dungeons or other things that complemented the history and other aspects of the world. The name "archaeologist" was just what the players called themselves, and was not official.

I was a discoverer with a friend who was such an archaeologist, and I remembered it because it had the same structure as the hidden room I found when I found a new skill and made a fortune.

In the game, there was a switch on the wall, but I couldn't find anything, so I decided to dig with a pickaxe.

As I was digging roughly, I felt a hard hand and the pickaxe was popped.

"It looks like it's made of a different material."

It appears to be made of something that looks like a stone wall, but I don't think I can break it with this pickaxe. There is definitely something here.

I did some research, and it seems that Rilfana, who has also inherited the abilities of a kunoichi, the upper echelon of the bandit-thief family, doesn't know if there are any tricks up her sleeve.

The pickaxe was sacrificed, but it was necessary. I'll have to pay for it later...

Passing through the open entrance, we found ourselves in a room surrounded by stone walls. In front of us was a down staircase, and on both sides were small artificial ponds that seemed to have water gushing out from underground. The area is covered with grass and moss.

"This looks like it might have some dark grass and solge moss too."

Ultra Canon is one of the low-level Raid bosses in SeveChro. It was a monster of level 20 or so, and did not have any special attacks, but it was a hard and time-consuming monster if you went in at the right level.

It had not reacted yet, but I wondered if I could defeat it with my magic sword and Rilfana's firepower.

We had a little strategy meeting on the stairs. This area is still like a game.

It appears that Clare has learned some magic, mainly auxiliary magic, after reflecting on the fact that there was not much she could do during the battle.

The three of us approached Ultra Canon. Ultra Canon, which had only been staring at us through its lens, stood up and made a driving sound like a motor starting to rev up.

Crackling grains clung to Ultra Canon, a weak debuff magic that had the effect of reducing AGI agility. In our world of Virtuari, it also seems to lower DEX dexterity.

I put Muscolo and Accelerate on myself and rushed to the right flank and slashed at him with Wind Blade.

They fight for a while, but something is wrong with Ultra Canon.

As if it had malfunctioned, it sometimes sends a shell in the direction of nothing, or stops for a moment. It also rarely uses its secondary cannon.

Thanks to this, I was able to take down about three legs. At this pace, it would not be difficult to defeat them.

While attacking more legs, Clare's Thunder Bolt seemed to run out and the crackling sound stopped.

Then the Ultra Canon stopped for a moment, and the driving sound switched.

Rilfana and I were too alerted by the change to approach. We wait and see.

The domed turret rotates at high speed and stops aiming at me. At that moment, a cannon shot out toward me.

Unlike the bullet speed of the petit and mini cannonballs, it is a little harder to see. It is still not a speed that I can't react to, but it seems to make a difference depending on the level difference.

"Protective shield scud!"

Clare's protective magic will repel the shells.

"Clare, Thunder Bolt!"

"Yes!"

Maybe the weakness of mechanical systems is lightning. I don't think they are powered by electricity, but their movement seems to be inhibited.

"Thunder Bolt!"

Once again, the Thunder Bolt that was hurled at it slows Ultra Canon's movement, just, as I guessed.

"Thunder Sword!"

Since I was able to produce ice, I imagined that I could also produce lightning, and a new magic sword with a new attribute was created.

Electricity like Thunder Bolt clings around the sword.

I feel that it is incompatible with iron swords, and that it breaks faster than other attributes. On the other hand, is electricity and metal too compatible with each other? 

When I attacked with the Thunder Sword, it turned around from the attack that had been difficult to pass earlier and cut off the leg in one fell swoop.

"Is lightning effective?"

"Yes, it must be!"

"I know!"

Rilfana, who was watching, held the dagger in both hands. She drew her right leg and lowered the tip of the dagger backward.

"Shiden no Tachi."

From there, he raised the dagger as if spinning while moving his right leg forward. A sound like the roar of thunder echoes for a moment.

I think it's too weak against lightning. If this were a game, it would have been said that they didn't adjust it.

Before the magic sword ran out, I used the iron sword to demolish the Ultra Canon.

Today, the dagger, pickaxe and this sword from dismantling the Petit Canons are the three that broke from the Magic Sword Enchantment. I would like to do something about the fact that I can't use the magic swords regularly because the weapons are damaged too quickly, but I don't even know what direction to go in.

I think if I had a weapon I used at level 80+ I could use it without breaking it, but looking at the weapon shop in the town of Gardia, I don't think it would be easy to get one.

Now that I had settled with Ultra Canon, I looked around to see what I could find in such a place.

There was a door in front of the stairs, and I opened it and went inside to find a small room.

Inside, there was a filing cabinet and a desk, and on the wall, small hammers and a tool called a "hammer and trowel" were hung meticulously.

There was a stone statue of a dwarf that I had seen somewhere before.

The sky was dark and there was a large mountain in front of me. The place where the statue was standing seemed to be beneath the mountain.

 I wondered if this was God again.
