I never figured out what words to say to the grieving. I always just placed my bets on just being there for the guy, and hope that's enough.

did this once with a wood splitting moal, bounced right off the plastic wheel barrow I was trying to destroy. Lots of blood but thats about it🤣

I think that just being there to help the person in their physical needs: do laundry, get them food, replace the trash--those are the things that really help a person when they are going through a grieving process. When someone is grieving, no one really can understand the feelings the other person is going through, so just being there for them can do all the good in the world.
