Dead Alive is a fantastic dumb zombie gore movie if you're into that sort of thing. One of the first movies Peter Jackson (director of King Kong and Lord of the Rings) directed.

I love the Kingsman movies. I'm also a huge advocate for The Warriors (1979). It's B-movie schlock, but playing the PS2 game made it a cornerstone of my childhood, and it's not only an excellent adaptation of Anabasis, but it being an adaptation of a story about New York gangs written by a social worker that death with the real deal gives it that level of authenticity. There were even legit gang members hired for the shooting of the film as security for the shoot, but also as extras during the Cyrus speech. Can't recommend the movie enough. Django Unchained is also really good. Never saw the original Django, but there's a Japanese adaptation of it (Sukiyaki Western Django) that I've been meaning to watch for years now. Speaking of Japanese movies, the original Phoenix Wright movie was a fantastic adaptation of the final case from the first game. Captures the energy and humor of the game perfectly while adding some interesting perspectives to certain interactions that are solely played for laughs in the game.

Power with no pants, a subtle “happy Jack” through a bag of popcorn, and Power pirating the movie they’re watching. Am I missing anything?

daiko

If you got time to kill, Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings trilogy is my all time favorite movies. I also recommend Your Name and Weathering With You as far as anime, aside from Ghibli stuff.

daiko

Also is that Akira from the old Devilman anime???

Khyle.

I've seen LOTR years back, but i've only watched segments of the hobbit when i catch it on tv 😂 ahh, time is very tricky to deal with yep

Khyle.

Khyle.

Second dog

Watching in order of release probably works, but they're kinda like James Bond movies, you can watch any single one and enjoy it on its own

Vinny L

If you’re still looking for classics, I recommend Annie Hall. Especially the bit where Woody Allen is passed a plate of cocaine and he sneezes on it, causing the whole batch to blow away

Acornunit02

And not as a teen? Hahaha that’s strange but good, I only have nightmares with the real life 😂
