Comics or Plain Illustrations (Patreon)

Wondering most of you prefer as I've a had a few requests. Comics with speech bubbles? Or straight portraits (scenes played out with no words or speech bubbles) like a silent movie, letting the book and illustrations speak for themselves? Thanks!
