You asked for it, and I found a way to make it happen!

This is an m-ex only mod which will require some setup from you. Steps below:

- Put this Basketball Stadium DIRT skin into your file system
- Open m-ex tool and open the sound tab
- Select main.ssm and look through the sound samples
- Replace sound 34 and sound 35 with squeak-1.wav
- Replace sounds 36, 37 and 38 with squeak-2.wav
- Save and (optionally) export as an ISO

----

To provide some explanation for how this is working:

I have changed the material that the Pokemon Stadium stage hitbox uses to be dirt, instead of the basic material it normally has. I chose dirt because it has the same properties and sound effects as the basic material PLUS a dirt squelching sound when characters walk on it.

With that change made, we now change the sound effect of the dirt squelch to be a sneaker squeak. As a result, every character makes a squeak sound when they walk on the Pokemon Stadium DIRT stage. Pretty cool!

The best part is that it should not affect any of your other tournament legal stage skins because basically nobody is using hitbox material modding, and none of the tournament legal stages use the dirt material by default (including Animelee stages).

Have fun out there!

You must not have replaced the dirt SFX - they shouldn't exist anymore. When you open your ISO in m-ex and click on these sounds, they should produce squeak sounds. If they do we can troubleshoot elsewhere. 34. SFX_se_taore_dirt_l - ID:20 35. SFX_se_taore_dirt_s - ID:20 36. SFX_se_taore_dirt_ss - ID:21 37. SFX_se_taore_dirt_sss - ID:21 38. unfortunately squeaky stadium crashes on console (or rather, the music starts playing and the "ready" sfc plays, but it never loads, it also never gives an error). I'm using the UnclePunch Dynamic Alternate Stage mod, unsure if that affects it. The same iso runs perfectly on dolphin.
