My buddy Eli is back!
I thought he'd really connect with a couple tracks from our boy Han. I showed him Alien and Volcano. I have mad respect for Eli for getting on camera again and being his genuine self. Enjoy!

The story Eli mentioned about his experience with school was pretty much the biggest inspiration to Alien actually— Han’s experience not really knowing how to fit into the new trainee environment with other kids his age after being homeschooled. Very fitting connection. Good news is that Han’s talked about how it’s more pointed to how he felt as a teenager rather than how he feels now, because finding his people in SKZ helped settle it down🫶 Loved hearing both of your thoughts, lots of good stuff!! Tell Eli we’re happy seeing him back:))

As a fellow Han stan I love your videos. I think Han is just such an inspiration, he's so unique and fun but also someone who you can relate to and who feels like they have grown so much as a person despite their hardships. I love seeing you share Han with other people and I loved hearing Eli's thoughts on the songs and his perspective on feeling like an alien himself.

It's official - I'm a Eli fan :) I really liked his insights, sharing his experiences, and just his overall energy. He seems like a great guy. Han is so interesting to me because he feels like a dual personality. He's incredibly talented, basically a superstar, can be the loudest, most charismatic, and the funniest person in the room. On the other hand, he openly admits he's not good at making friends/doesn't have many, struggles with pretty bad anxiety, and doesn't like to leave his room. He's someone who I think is talented enough to have a solo career, but would never really be able to work up the courage to do so. Honestly, I think "alien" is the perfect word to describe Han - not in a negative connotation, but just because of his uniqueness. Actually, in a lot of SKZ content they do make jokes about him being an alien, so I guess I'm not the only one that thinks that :) I love our extroverted introvert lol EDIT: NOT THE BABYGIRL COMPILATION LOL

This was so great! Man, max, i really like seeing you interact with friends/family. Im usually the most interested in videos where you get into the nitty gritty of what makes a healthy relationship dynamic. But its also really nice positive modeling to see the healthy relationships you’ve cultivated. Of course i like seeing you on your own because then you can focus more on commenting from your own expertise, but these collabs are just so wholesome and interesting :)

This was a really lovely deep reaction. Alien is my song- I'm autistic and I relate so much to some of the things Han has said about struggling with knowing how to make friends or understanding why people dislike you for being super passionate etc., but my favourite thing is the way Han talks about these things with a fighting spirit. There's always a vibe of gritted teeth and, this sucks, but I believe something out there can be better and I won't let anything stop me getting there. The fact that Han is the life and party of SKZ most of the time but occasionally has down spells and the group completely support him and celebrate him no matter what is also so inspiring to me. It always sticks with me that when he was going through a bad period of anxiety Han attended a fanmeeting and Chan said to the audience something like that Han might need to go backstage but if he does we should be so proud because of how much effort he'd put in to be there. They celebrated him, and encouraged Stay to do the same. That mentality of accepting your mental or emotional health might not always be great but that you can and will get through it, and you should be celebrated for it, is so beautiful and encouraging. If Eli is up for it, you should consider checking out the Han and Seungmin 2Kids Show episode and hearing Volcano live. I feel like Eli would probably really love Hyunjin and Felix's personalities and discussions as well- if you ever want to indoctrinate him further into the Stay cause 😄. Thank you for always taking time to think and explore Stray Kids and the groups you react to. Also- I loved your smile when you were watching Han clips. You should give yourself a treat and watch a bunch of his compilations on video, it'd be fun.

Your friend is a gem! I loved his analysis ! It would be very interesting to see him react to doodle, because I think it’s about something similar to alien but from a different perspective. While alien talks about the sadness of being/feeling different, doodle is an ode to it. I definitely found some healing through its lyrics and crazy beat 😁

Just wanted to give my own opinion on the "to me you’re already a sin" line in volcano. Okay so Han has spoken about how he used to go to church as a kid so he definitely had some kind of religious upbringing and he wears a cross around his neck very often. I believe he's said that he is catholic but I don’t know if he's a believer or not. Anyway I don’t wanna speculate on his sexuality because it’s his own business but I think it’s important to note that he never uses gendered terms in his songs and I know that lgbtq relationships are seen as a sin in a lot of religions. So I interpreted this song as being about queer love, now whether that’s between Han and another person or just queer love in general I don’t know. But yeah that’s just how I interpreted the song and I know a lot of queer stays like myself did the same.
