Well, he ain't one of my favorites, he's a disgusting, lecherous creep, but like many people have said, he does come across as believable. I know it would have been tempting to design someone who was a "silver fox" (elegant, elderly ma) to fit the role of a "sugar daddy", but that's all Hollywood and in real life someone like that would probably look and act more like Arthur Thompson (Eric's dad). Fun fact: I also note that he is the only character who is presented with both his first name and last name in the series! In regards to "believable characters", I can honestly say that there isn't one who has come across as too "incredible". Exaggerated yes, but not unbelievable. I can personally attest to the fact that people like Jessica and Jack exist as I have had personal acquaintances who have fitted their types to a large extent. The only character who seems a little "out there" is Jasmine, but that is more a matter of her/his behavior towards a complete stranger, but then again, Jasmine is an extreme character in so many ways.
