BIG Announcement: New Patreon Goal! I want to make a video game! (Patreon)

It's here!! My second ever visible goal on Patreon has been posted, and my personal progress towards achieving it can be checked at any time via my main Patreon screen! I am normally careful about adding goals to my page, simply because I want to make sure they feel tangible and meaningful. This was one such time!

For those unaware, the cast of diverse (cat bias notwithstanding) animal characters I've been posting and talking about over the last few months are all part of a much larger story- A story I want to tell through the format of a video game!

This project of mine has been (temporarily) dubbed The Big City Project, and has been on the conceptual stage for a while now! Primarily focusing on worldbuilding and story.
This milestone we are nearing will probably not herald the full stop of this stage of development-- Planning takes time! I especially don't wanna give any inaccurate release dates or false promises to anyone, most of you know how I operate!♥

However, we are close enough to this goal that I can seriously begin considering putting the project on full throttle, and start dedicating serious hours each week towards making it a reality, as well as planning it beyond the lore and writing side, and more into the tangible, gamey elements!

Needless to say, while I want to be careful with what I show as though to not spoil major story elements, I will want to showcase progress on the game as it comes, and even look to find playtesters and feedback from my supporters!

The game is set to be made in RPG Maker MV, a tool intuitive enough for me to operate reliably and deliver a project of a scale relative to my current skills and resources!
I am aware of my own limits and the pitfalls of being overly ambitious, but that won't keep me from trying my best to deliver fun characters and an exciting world!
